    About the Job

    • The successful candidate will be required to help with the tidiness of the office and with the offering of refreshments to our stakeholders.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure that the kitchen, offices, toilets, and common areas are always kept clean.
    • Empty litter bins, remove waste to designated areas.
    • Ensure timeous order and safe keeping of cleaning material, toiletries, and office groceries.

    HR Generalist

    About the Job

    • HR Generalist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HR department. To ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations and manage a variety of HR processes.

    Key duties and responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive and holistic HR services support to the HR Manager, HR Business Partner on all aspects of the Human Resources life cycle.
    • Support the recruiting and hiring process. This may include posting job openings, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and making job offers.

    HTS Coordinator

    About the Job

    • We are looking for a HTS Coordinator that will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of facility and out of facility, community case finding (HTS), case management and retention support activities within the Western Cape APACE program through coordinating the various projects facets, including HR, logistics and administration.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee the implementation of Anova’s case finding, case management and retention support activities at facility and community level, in line with 909090 strategy and workplan
    • Oversee the implementation, coordination, and support of all HIV prevention strategies: DREAMS, MINA, PREP, ICT, Risk Screening tool and HIV SS
    • Provide leadership and oversight to Anova Counsellors and HTS Testers allocated to work at primary health care facilities, hospital, and community
    • Work with a team of Anova counsellors and HTS testers and ensure that they meet all required DoH standards to provide case finding, linkage to care and retention in care strategies
    • Oversee implementation and maintenance of HTS/CLI quality improvement activities at facility and community level as required and ensure compliance with DoH policies
    • Identify training needs at facility and community level and make logistical arrangements for such trainings
    • Coordinate all data collection and management processes provided by your teams.
    • Engage in data quality assurance and internal control activities
    • Update project assets registers and inventories
    • Laisse regularly with Anova M&E department to ensure accurate project reports
    • Identify critical programme stakeholders and establish working relationships with them
    • Manage and maintain functional relations with all internal and external stakeholders including DoH and other partners
    • Ensure that project staff participate actively in decision making

    Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

    • Qualification in Health/ Social Sciences
    • At least 5 years’ experience in project or operations management
    • At least 5 years’ experience in HIV or public health environment
    • Able to demonstrate ability to update and maintain a data repository
    • NIMART Certificate advantageous
    • Computer Literate – MS Office Packages (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel & PowerPoint)
    • Excellent Communication skills and ability to speak one of the local languages
    • Valid driver’s license essential
    • Innovative, organized, analytical and excellent interpretation data skills
    • Knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention and community health issues
    • Computer skills

    Outreach Team Leader: Professional Nurse

    About the Job

    • We are looking for an energetic and dynamic Outreach Team Leader: Professional Nurse to lead the Home-Based Carers, CDU, CDL, Rehab Adherence, CDU Staff.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Design weekly work plans for the CHW and for him or herself (home visits, household assessments,
    • community outreach events, etc.)
    • Manage the Community Healthcare Workers per node.
    • Work closely with the DoH facility management and the community leaders to facilitate the Community-Oriented Primary Care approach – meaning the OTL is required to attend the local community meetings.
    • Attend and actively participate the multi-disciplinary meetings organised by the DoH facility management.
    • Actively participate in the wellness and prevention interventions, e.g., administering of vaccines, screening for non-communicable diseases, family planning, etc.
    • Plan and implement mentorship and coaching sessions for the CHW on the Integrated Health and Wellness Service package.
    • Routinely record/update patient files and stats.
    • Attend training sessions arranged by the DoH and/or Anova.
    • Routinely travel to dedicated Anova, wellness outreach venues and/or DOH facilities in the Cape Metropole District, when required.
    • Routine checking and correcting of CHWs registers/reports.
    • Accurate reporting (verbal and written) of stats and narrative reports.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality.
    • Ensure that patient files are filled and stored correctly and safely – POPIA compliant.
    • CHW timesheet and leave management and timeous submissions to Anova’s HR department.
    • Manage the office expenses, advance claims, and mileage claims with timeous submissions to the Anova’s finance department.
    • Prioritise, organise and manage own workload in a manner that maintains and promotes quality.
    • Any other tasks as agreed with line manager.

    Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

    • Nursing qualification (Professional Nurse)
    • SANC registration
    • Valid driver’s license essential
    • Own transport and vehicle
    • Experience working within the community will be advantageous
