    Storeman

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar environment
    • Grade 12 
    • Numerical and reading literacy
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Must be willing to work shifts and overtime if required

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    Key Responsibilities

    • To help customers at the issue and receiving counter in a friendly and professional manner  
    • Check signatures on SSR’s to ensure that it is authorised
    • Capturing of SSR’s and invoices on a daily basis before 24H00
    • Assist with the loading and off-loading of both stock and non-stock items
    • Do daily spot checks and ensure that the system and actual stock level balance
    • All SSR’s captured must be checked daily against Inventory Journal printout
    • Assist with quarterly stock counts
    • Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the stores area
    • Complete GRA’s for all returns and repairs
    • All stock must be binned neatly and correctly on a daily basis
    • Ensure compliance with SHEQ procedures

    Governance

    • Ensure that RCL FOODS ethical standards and the requirements of the RPM are adhered to
    • Report and or escalate any areas of non-compliance appropriately

    Information and Data Management

    • Ensure team members accurately and regularly capture data onto the information system to enable access to reliable data and reporting for trend analysis and decision-making
    • Share relevant data with management teams to enable reliable business decision-making

    • Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning prioritising, and self-development 
    • Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of  work are consistently and accurately maintained

    Foreman Maintenance - Malalane

    Minimum Requirements    

    • N2 Trade tested Millwright.
    • Proof of the successful completion of an institutionalised program is essential.
    • Minimum of 5 years working experience as a trade tested Artisan Millwright.
    • At least 3 years exposure in a Supervisory capacity.
    • Knowledge of planned maintenance systems.
    • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Must be computer literate (MS Package).
    • Working knowledge of SAP system.
    • To be considered for appointment, candidate must be a South African citizen.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Promote and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
    • Manage the mechanical & electrical maintenance function of the plants in compliance with internal procedures, standards, and good engineering practices.
    • Provide technical input for the setting up and optimization of equipment.
    • Maintenance of equipment in the plant.
    • Compile and control operations and maintenance budgets.
    • Plan and control scheduled maintenance activities.
    • Ensure that required quality and equipment standards are met in the design and installation of projects.
    • Report any accidents, or incidents immediately to the Engineering manager.
    • Conduct incident investigations and reporting of such.
    • Management of subordinates.
    • Lead the maintenance team to achieve reliable equipment - LTA.
    • Development of the workshop to comply with the required Engineering Standards.

    Food Safety Technologist

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric/ Grade 12
    • B.Sc. Consumer Science/Food Science/ B-Tech. Food technology/ N.D Food Technology
    • N.D Biotechnology
    • ISO 22000 implementation/ FSSC 22000
    • Good numerical Skills
    • PC literate
    • Good Interpersonal skills - able to work and communicate at all levels throughout the business
    • Ability to work well as part of a team as well as under own initiative

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Compile a customer database that stipulates their external analysis needs and continuously update to keep it current.  
    • Identify and submit all samples requiring external analytical/microbiological testing as per schedule. Ensuring that testing is completed timeously to avoid shipping delays.
    • Managing environmental monitoring program, ensuring swabs are taken as per the testing schedule.
    • Ensure compliance to good housekeeping practices.
    • To assist with analytical testing as and when staffing issues arise.
    • To be able to answer any QC related question during an internal and external audit.
    • Conduct all food safety training needs for the plant.
    • Conduct daily staff hygiene checks.
    • Ensure staff adhere to Food Safety Culture
    • Perform daily quality analysis on final goods to determine compliance to the specification.
    • Conduct frequent process control audits to ensure compliance.
    • Update QC test methods when necessary
    • Assist with information required for monthly QC monthly Report.
