    Business Intelligence Specialist - JHB

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the Business Intelligence environment within Tsebo
    • Responsible for designing and planning business intelligence solutions such as reports, dashboards, and MIS systems
    • Responsible for debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting BI solutions as well as creating and deploying reports for this
    • Responsible for developing, publishing and scheduling Qlikview/Qliksense & Power BI reports and dashboards as per business requirements
    • Engage various business stakeholders and convert their requirements into relevant Qlikview & PowerBi reports and dashboards
    • Securely facilitate Client data transfers/processing using the Tsebo data warehouse
    • Maintain SQL infrastructure to meet business BI requirements
    • Maintain, grow, and modernise the current Tsebo Data warehouse
    • Manage and hold Tsebo vendors accountable for their service against SLA
    • Continuously improve by identifying innovation opportunities
    • Transform data into insights that drive business value
    • Through use of data analytics, data visualisation and data modelling techniques & technologies, BI specialist can identify trends that can help the Tsebo business make business decisions to modernise and improve processes in the organisation
    • Manage application and infrastructure changes via formalised change management processes.
    • Properly document and keep the BI Environment up to date
    • Build and maintain relationships with business and Tsebo Client key stakeholders
    • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and 3rd
    • Supply monthly feedback to line manager on the Business Intelligence area
    • Report on a monthly basis on progress for BI projects and initiatives

    Skills and Competencies

    • 5+ Years’ SQL experience (SQL 2008 R2 – 2016).
    • 5+ Years’ Datawarehouse experience including building data warehouses.
    • 5+ Years’ experience in SSIS ETL.
    • Dimensional data modelling experience
    • Data visualization Tools (QlikView, Qliksense & Power Bi)
    • Microsoft Office 365 applications, which includes Power Bi, Power Automate, SharePoint Online and PowerApps.
    • Project exposure (waterfall and/or agile methodologies).
    • Business requirements documentation, Business requirements specification & Functional requirements specification.
    • Good understanding of Financial, procurement, payroll, and other systems related data sets.
    • Good Understanding of SOAP, WCF Web Services & API integrations.
    • Keeping up to date with current and emerging methodologies and technologies.

    Planner/ Project Programmer (12 Months contract)

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Operational Planning:

    • Creating, maintaining, and reviewing a programme of work
    • Be able to read drawings received from the design team
    • Ensure that projects are completed within the agreed upon timeframe
    • Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
    • Liaising with surveyors, engineers, and architects
    • Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders
    • Breaking large jobs down into phases of development
    • Using project management tools to plan timeframes
    • Working with estimators to calculate the resources needed for a project
    • Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change
    • Meeting with contractors and suppliers
    • Demonstrating knowledge of construction
    • Managing several projects with the support of junior planners

    Daily Administrative Support:

    • Improve methods of carrying out work through on-the-job experience.

    Sales Director - Cleaning

    Key responsibilities would include:

    • Setting revenue targets for the company and setting key performance indicators.
    • Managing the team of Business Development Managers and ensuring performance against KPI’s.
