    HR Service Specialist - C&B,PA,GM

    You will be working as HR Services Specialist – Compensation and Benefits, People Analytics and Global Mobility and will be part of the Global Business Services (GBS) Business Area for HR Operational Services Division based in Modderfontein, South Africa. In this role you will be reporting to the HR GBS Front Office Manager and will be responsible for performing day to day processing of HR requests related to one or more service lines which includes employee life cycle, global mobility, compensation and benefits and people analytics for an assigned group of employees. Ensuring appropriate support for internal customers and delivering accurate and timely processing of information with all stakeholders by ensuring all the quality controls.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Executing and delivering the assigned HR services according to the defined Service Level Agreements (SLA). Handling complex or escalated tasks as well as supporting and coaching the team with defined tasks.
    • Delivering HR service support to the HR community, managers, and employees. Displaying customer service mind-set and a proactive way of working to serve the customers with a “can do” attitude.
    • Recommending improvements and simplification in the existing processes and procedures based on the experience and feedback received from the customers. Leading the process improvement activities and participating in various quality control and audit activities.
    • Communicating information regarding the policies and standards on assigned processes to the internal customers as and when needed.
    • Recording the enquiries of the employees in an appropriate IT system (ticketing tool). Performing data entry into the systems as necessary for assigned HR Services.
    • Maintaining high level of accuracy and quality in the system and providing on-demand reports related to the process when required.
    • Preparing the documents and the necessary information for the external authorities and performing quality checks of the others in the team.

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resource, Industrial Psychology or any equivalent qualification.
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the field of Human Resources.
    • Candidate should have strong knowledge in SAP HCM (Human Capital Management), organizational management and people analytics and reporting.
    • Candidates should have good understanding of compensation & benefits, analyzing and compiling people analytics and global mobility.
    • Ability to meet priorities and deadlines and providing utmost attention to details.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally

    Senior Sales Specialist

    You will be working as Senior Sales Specialist and will be part of the Electrification Business Area for Global Market Division based in Modderfontein, South Africa. In this role you will be reporting to Electrification Sales Manager – Industry and Service and will be responsible for identifying and cultivating defined customers and driving the sales process from the potential lead to the final sales deal and achieving the sales targets through active customer interaction and developing solutions when required to address the challenges faced by the customer.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Ensuring the market information is updated and documented accurately in the system.
    • Ensuring the information about the new entrants or other parameters influencing the market is communicated to the service manager and sales manager. Contributing to the identification and development of new and potential customers as well as expanding the business with existing customers.
    • Acting as marketer or salesperson of ABB’s services and solutions when required at trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences and customer meeting.
    • Understanding the needs of the customer and translating the needs into the relevant ABB’ service offering. Visiting the customers for building and maintaining the relations.
    • Ensuring enough knowledge about the ABB service offerings to facilitate the sales process with the customers.
    • Negotiating with the customer and secure the business to the agreed margins, as well as
    • ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
    • Monitoring the sales proposals and tenders and following up on the statistics concerning sales proposals. Ensuring the sales proposal agreements are signed and that they are in line with established requirements of the unit.
    • Ensuring the payments from the customer are received as per the terms and conditions of the contract to avoid due payments.
    • Ensuring the customer database is updated with all the required information about the customers and meeting the expected number of customer visits as established in the target set by the sales manager.
    • Ensuring that the contracts are executed correctly and are delivered are on time at the agreed cost.
    • Coordinating post-sales marketing and making sure the customers are satisfied and the complaints if any are registered in the database.

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in selling service or industrial systems.
    • Candidate should have prior experience in low voltage and medium voltage switchgear products or projects.
    • Candidate should have strong substation experience.
    • Ability to understand and interpret the responsible market and compile a strategy for market penetration and to be able to implement the strategy.
    • Candidate with strong knowledge or experience of the industry and the market outside South Africa would be an added advantage.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
