    Service Technician - Western Cape

    Job Description    

    • Ensure all weekly reports are updated and send to the customers
    • Ensure all treated systems are treated properly and enough stock is always on site
    • Ensure monthly chemical orders are placed correctly and according to the Forecast
    • Attend monthly review meetings with key site management personnel
    • Monitor the performance of all site chemical dosing and monitoring equipment
    • Responsible for required calibrations and maintenance of all site equipment
    • Ensure housekeeping and Safety on all sites are always up to AECI standards
    • Responsible for field lab test work as and when required

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric (Science and Maths)
    • National Diploma in Science/Chemistry/Technical Field or willing to study in the Chemistry field
    • Expertise related to Water Treatment/Account Management/Lab Test Work
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Proficiency in Excel/Word/PowerPoint

    SHEQ Graduate - Lilianton

    Job Description    
    Knowledge and Training

    • The incumbent will be required to undergo Process safety and SHEQ related training as part of his/her continuous development.
    • The incumbent will be expected to develop knowledge of SHEQ Management systems (e.g. ISO, PSM, CAIA, etc.) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and associated regulations.

    SHEQ related support:

    The incumbent will be required to assist the SHEQ Department with:

    • SHEQ related documentation and records
    • Depot compliance
    • Facilitation of the close-out of corrective actions
    • SHEQ statistics
    • SHEQ Risk Assessments
    • Implementing SHEQ Controls
    • SHEQ incident investigations, root cause analysis and facilitation of learning
    • The development of SHEQ training material and facilitation of SHEQ training
    • Internal and external audits and inspections
    • Co-ordinating annual medicals
    • PSM rollout and support
    • Participate in PSM audit
    • Participate in PSM incident investigation
    • Maintaining PSM admin
    • Other ad-hoc duties as required
    • Must be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans due to the nature of the company’s client base.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Minimum education Grade 12
    • Must be fully computer literate MS Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
