    Customer Tech Support Consultant - Durbanville

    How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

    • We are looking for a vibrant, and energetic professional with a can-do attitude and a passion for making a difference in the lives of patients living with Type 1 Diabetes. You will work as part of the Customer Tech Support Team, assisting patients with in-depth and complex troubleshooting and complaint resolutions.
    • As part of our customer success-focused, results-driven organization, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a high standard of customer service, and driving sustainable, long-term customer happiness. We are looking for someone that is effective, adaptable, flexible, and analytical and is an admin wiz in a fast-paced environment that will work effectively with the CTS Team and Diabetes Sales Team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Field and handle incoming Customer Tech Support Requests and Complaint Calls through the Call Centre Helpline. 
    • Field and handle incoming Online Customer Tech Support Requests, calling customers back to assist and resolve each ticket logged. 
    • Educate customers on product best-use practices. 
    • Manage and maintain the CTS call register - all incoming complaints/support requests, closed requests and replacement invoices. 
    • Effective and efficient product troubleshooting. 
    • Document troubleshooting, complaints and resolutions on the CRM system. 
    • Complaint reporting and tracking to manufacturers within 48 hours. 
    • Process warranted replacement orders on the CRM and arrange for faulty device collections. 
    • Maintain accurate CRM and Masterlist databases. 
    • Maintain accurate records of activities on all CTS department trackers. 
    • Add new customer profiles to the CRM system. 
    • Proactively manage the CTS email inbox. 
    • Liaison with Dexcom and Tandem Tech Support to resolve complaints and resolve Quality Assurance queries.
    •  Manage CTS email inbox collectively with the team. 
    • Serve as liaison between customers and the logistics team and sales team when required. 
    • Build and maintain excellent stakeholder networks and relationships internally and externally to drive the business forward. Place customers at the centre of what you do in addressing needs and finding business solutions. 
    • Foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience and insights. 
    • Ensure business objectives and practices are fully compliant with relevant laws, policies and procedures.

    Qualifications include:

    • Matric. 
    • Diploma/ Degree in Business, Administration or Life Sciences will be considered. 
    • 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role. 
    • Own vehicle/ reliable transport.

    Millwright Technician

     

    This incumbent will be accountable for maintaining all electrical and mechanical systems in the plant are safe, reliable and in working condition and ensuring that accurate measurements are achieved on all instrumentation. The incumbent will maintain all control systems programs and hardware in a reliable and acceptable condition and communicate problems/irregularities with the manager. Ensure that maintenance is adhered to legislation, SANS 10142 and working knowledge of explosive environments.

    • Maintenance of cryogenic pumps at AL premises and customers.
    • Maintenance of road tankers.
    • Maintenance of onsite units at customer sites  
    • General plant maintenance.
    • New electrical installations and maintenance of existing electrical installations in Air Liquide facilities, road tankers and customer installations.
    • Adherence to SANS 10142 and working knowledge of explosive environments.
    • Perform Maintenance and breakdown work on road tankers,Onsite installations  and Bulk Installation of an electrical and mechanical nature and assist at the Richards Bay site when required
    • Preventative and corrective maintenance relating to control panels, pump motors and instrumentation such as temperature controls and pressure transducers on road tankers, as well as IM site electrical equipment
    • Fault Finding on various types of equipment – especially pumps & Compressors.
    • Perform installation work (electrical, instrumentation, mechanical) on projects as and when required.
    • Refurbishment of pumps and related equipment at the workshop, including management of the spare parts.
    • Communicating problems/ irregularities to the manager
    • Working additional hours and standby as & when required. 
    • Recording information and record keeping as required (job cards, record books etc.).
    • Adhere to the QA Procedures as laid out in the Quality Policy of Air Liquide & ISO 9001:2000 as well as additional IMS requirements.
    • Walkabouts – Periodic inspections of the tankers to have a proactive system to fix issues. 
    • From time to time when business requires service at Durban you will be expected to attend

    Educational requirements

    • Grade 12/NTC3
    • Matric Certificate

    Experience

    • Qualified Millwright with strong mechanical background.
    •  Valid driver’s License

    Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job

    • Installation maintenance and repairs.
    • Cryogenic pump equipment and applications 
    • Safety and Environmental requirements.
    • Welding/silver soldering etc.
    • Legislation related to the gas/cryogenic industry.

    Specialty Gases Facility Manager

    The Specialty Gases Facility Manager is responsible for all aspects of Speciality Gases production to meet customer demand, within the agreed lead time, specification and cost. The Facility Manager will lead the Specialty Gases team by giving direction, developing competencies, and monitoring achievements. The Facility Manager is wholly accountable for safety, reliability, quality and efficiency of the facility

    • Plan and supervise production of all gas mixtures; Ensure gas mixtures are prepared on time and adhere to Air Liquide standards.
    • Ensure adherence of the speciality gas production to the relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Apply safety and quality procedures as laid out in the Air Liquide Management System in accordance with the Industrial Management System and industry standards (e.g. ISO, FSSC, GMP, etc).
    • Organise resources to optimise the operation of the facility, to achieve productivity targets.
    • Speciality Gas Production Cost control (raw materials, overtime, maintenance, etc).
    • Investigate means to reduce costs and improve quality (continually re-engineer operations/organisation).
    • Maintain the SANAS accreditation of the Specialty Gases laboratory to ISO 17025.
    • Complete audit root cause analyses and corrective and preventive actions.
    • Complete incident root cause analyses and corrective and preventive actions.
    • Implement continuous improvement methods (Daily Performance Management, 5S, VSM, etc).
    • Monitor and maintain an auditable system/list  for critical raw materials.
    • Implement a maintenance management plan to guarantee permanent equipment availability preventing production downtime. This includes the FFSG, Haskel pumps, cryogenic pumps, vacuum pumps, scales, weights, detectors, gauges, analysers, buildings, etc.
    • Maintain a high level of safety and housekeeping.
    • Train and maintain an up to date qualification table.
    • To create redundancy in operation, ensure that each production facility can be operated by more than one operator.
    • Control documentation regarding servicing and calibration of instruments.
    • To submit a monthly production report for the area of responsibility.
    • Ensure that production posting in Navision is done daily.
    • Manage buy-in products.
    • Manage cylinder rentals of buy-in products, raw materials and calibration standards.
    • Manage raw material and accessories inventories to guarantee daily production and permanent capacity to supply market needs.
    • Establish a management plan to guarantee traceability of the entire production process.

    Educational requirements

    • Education: BSc Chemistry or BSc Chemical Engineering

    Experience

    • 5 years operational management experience in a production environment
    • 1-2 years Project Management experience

    • HSE and Risk Management methods
    • Knowledge of analytical instruments

    Clinical Sales Consultant - Westville

    Sales Consultant is accountable for managing customer relationships to ensure customers receive value and Return on Investment from VitalAire products and services. Recognizing opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling through regular contact, including face to face visits, and monitoring of Customer needs.
