    Job Description
    As the Learning Specialist you will oversee Learning systems by providing technical and operational support on Success Factors Learning Management System (LMS) and other enabling systems. This includes:

    • Maintenance of LMS, user query resolution, technical assistance with content creation, and management of the end-end learning life cycle of a course.
    • Identify and document business requirements for the LMS ecosystem whilst working with Global IM to ensure the stability and testing of enhancements.
    • Work closely with the Global Shared Services Learning Service Delivery team to effectively handover new projects or learning changes and updates and communication thereof.
    • Collaborate with Global teams across 3 regions, ensuring optimal delivery within the LMS ecosystem, whilst working closely with fellow Learning specialists on process improvement, system knowledge and shared best practices.

    This role is in the Global Shared Services Human Resources department at a Band 6 level reporting to the Global Learning Support Superintendent.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in HR, Industrial Psychology or IT

    Experience:

    • 5+ years’ experience configuring and supporting a Learning ecosystem
    • Expert working experience of SAP and or Success Factors LMS
    • English written and verbal proficiency is essential
    • Strong PC skills with a confident approach in Learning Systems and MS Office
    • Comfort managing global teams through collaboration
    • Ability to coach and mentor team across multiple geographies

    Learning Coordinator

    • This role requires a Learning Coordinator who will ensure that there is coordination amongst the task between the EMEA, LATAM and APAC regions.
    • You will be accountable for the administrative support for the Group’s Learning ecosystem to achieve delivery targets and SLAs by providing team objectives, direction and continuous feedback on progress.
    • The incumbent will coordinate and coach the global teams to be passionate about providing a superior service and Learner experience, build and develop relationships within a complex business environment across various levels of seniority across multiple geographies.
    • As part of your responsibilities, you will ensure that Learning catalogues and inventory are maintained within the Learning ecosystem to the required service level agreement (SLA), also ensure all teams are right sized to deliver operational excellence, based on workforce training plan information from managers of Group Functions and Business Units
    • Finally develop, maintain high standards of governance across the learning process in line with Group Learning’s policies and frameworks and deliver monthly KPI reporting inputs to enable a global view of activities of Global Shared Services from a Learning perspective.

    Qualifications
    You will need the following:

    • A relevant HR/ Industrial Psychology Bachelor’s Degree

    Experience:

    • 5+ years’ experience with at least 3 years at a supervisory level in managing service delivery teams preferably Learning (training) administration support
    • Working experience of Success Factors LMS and SAP
    • Demonstrated leadership in coaching, leading and motivating teams
    • Strong PC skills, with a confident approach working with MS Office and Learning systems
    • Comfortable managing global teams with excellent collaboration and motivational skills
    • Ability to coach and mentor team across multiple geographies
    • Understanding of the Shared Services environment

    Project Manager Modernization

    As the Project Manager, your knowledge and drive towards Modernization, Mechanization and Data Analytics will help us to ensure realization of Burning Ambition, Zero Harm, Elimination of Fatalities, Life of Asset Plan and advancement of Future Smart Mining.

    The 4 focus areas for this role will be to:
    Operational Planning

    • Develop, own and maintain the overall programme plan and perform critical path planning to ensure all integration dependencies are understood and delivered in line with the programme schedule.
    • Ensure the competencies, structure and services of the Project Support Office in the operational area are aligned to the business plans.

    Work Management

    • Participate at the appropriate level in the ongoing developing of processes for the effective management of capital, project expenditure, Programme Office Budgets and Finances and manage the capturing and categorisation of project ideas and the provision of Programme Office in the knowledge areas of: Project Management, Planning and Estimating, Cost and Schedules Management and Forecasting, Contract Management and Procurement Management.
    • Ensure improvements to the computer systems are incorporated, communicated effectively while managing the project close-out and post-implementation review processes to ensure effective completion following project handover.

    Change Management

    • Implement the required methods and manners in order to facilitate the necessary change relating to both internal and external processes while developing a structured approach to change is critical to help ensure a beneficial transition while mitigating disruption.
    • Consulting and advisory services to Operational Managers, Project Managers and team members and outsource services providers is provided effectively and timeously.

    Compliance and Health & Safety

    • Ensure compliance of the discipline with external (legislative, regulatory, permitting) requirements and are aligned to the Anglo American compliance requirements.
    • Oversee consistent application of Safety & Health principles in all discipline interactions and take personal responsibility and act as a role model and reinforce a workplace culture where safety and health is paramount.

    Qualifications

    • BSc/ BTech in Mining Engineering.
    • A formal Project Management qualification.
    • Technology and Innovation Qualification will be advantageous.

    Technical Experience and requirements:

    • Advanced Project management fundamentals and awareness of all new technologies and their impact on operational activities within scope of role including Business improvement tools and techniques.
    • At least 10 years Middle Management level experience in the mining industry (both modernisation and mechanisation), as well as in the management of project programmes, or large industrial projects.
    • Advanced experience of managing a Strategic Programme Management Office and Commercially astute, understands commercial impacts of change control, risks and issues.
    • Advanced Computer Knowledge. Preferably in MS Projects or similar programs.
