    Resort Administrative Assistant – Kiara Lodge

    Key Performance Areas:

    • To assist the Resort Manager and the Resort through efficient and organized management of a range of Administrative functions in compliance with national and local legislation, resort policies and procedures and the brand’s standards for service, quality, guest satisfaction, safety and security.
    • To enhance & maintain communication with internal & external parties.
    • Responsible for confidential and time sensitive information.
    • To provide support to the Resort Manager and Heads of Department wherever & however required.
    • Duties range from telephone, office administration, reservations, stock/asset control, and handling of money. The successful candidate will also be responsible for compiling and submitting reports, managing and maintaining certain resort information.  
    • Dealing with queries, both written and verbal.  Data capturing and general admin duties.

    Key Competencies & Personal Attributes:

    • Matric
    • Computer literacy in Excel & Word
    • Previous client liaison experience
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to plan and organise
    • Numerical proficiency essential as well as attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong admin skills  
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Good communication skills
    • Discretion, Confidentiality, Trustworthiness of highest importance
    • Own transport & Drivers Licence essential
    • Previous financial experience will be an advantage

    IT Support Professional Resorts

    • The successful candidate will be expected to travel to the company resorts throughout South Africa.
    • Must be able to support all Information Technology infrastructures such as, PC’s, servers, printers, telephones, TV’s and wireless equipment. This will include the install, repair, upgrade, maintain, setup and all related software.
    • Candidate will provide technical support, assist users and third party suppliers.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience

    • Linux / Window 7/10/11 Experience
    • Expert in Wireless, Mikrotik Routers and Ubiquity’s (AP’s and Routers) a required expertise
    • Previous experience in a similar environment would be a distinct advantage
    • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently
    • Understanding of cabling and fibre technologies
    • valid driver’s license
    • Prepared to travel extensively
    • Excellent communication skills dealing at all levels

    Qualifications:

    • Linux+ or LPI, N+, Security+ , MCSE or similar qualifications.
    • A Wireless certification would be a distinct advantage, (Mikrotik + Ubiquity)
