Key Responsibilities 

Leadership & Culture

• Lead and embed the Cotton On Way, building a team of Store Managers who are engaged brand and product ambassadors
• Understand your team's individual motivators and development needs to drive wellness, engagement, and succession
• Set clear expectations, review performance, provide meaningful feedback, and follow up using the Group Performance Framework
• Foster a safe, supportive environment in alignment with our Safety Matters Framework

Commercial Performance

• Drive performance across all people, customer, and financial initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement
• Maintain a working plan with clear success measures across People, Customer, and Financials for each of your stores
• Own and drive your team's High-Performance Activities (HPAs) to focus on what matters most
• Inspect stock health and drive compliant loss prevention and inventory management
• Unlock productivity and efficiencies in your operating rhythm

Collaboration & Insight

• Partner with VM and Merchandise teams to review business performance, execute brand direction, and provide customer and store insights
• Provide your manager with timely, quality insights on everything your team needs in order to deliver a seamless customer experience across your area

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in a multi-site retail leadership role
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and translate it into action
• A genuine passion for people leadership, including coaching, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across all levels of a business
• A customer-obsessed mindset with a deep understanding of retail operations
• The ability to manage change confidently and lead your team through ambiguity
• Curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a drive for continuous improvement
• Sound knowledge of retail product and brand DNA

The Role 

• You're the supporter, the analyzer and the team player. You obsess about delivering what the customer wants by reviewing trade results, analyzing data and making recommendations to drive sales with a digital-first mindset and maximize gross profit.  
• Support retail and VM to identify and act on trade opportunities, manage stock health and prevent dilution
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize inventory and deliver efficient and effective service to stores and customers
• Regularly complete site visits, store visits and distribution to inspect stock on hand, share feedback, communicate messages and solve problems
• Manage the effective execution of promotional activities, share performance insights across all channels

The Role

• Store Managers enable their team to create great experiences for our customer and drive business outcomes for their store.
• Lead and embed a culture that builds a team of engaged product and Brand ambassadors within your store
• Enable and empower your Store Management team who are customer first, people focused and results driven
• Coach your team to deliver multiple Brand moments and an elevated flagship experience for our customer to shop seamlessly throughout your store
• Identify your teams development needs and motivators to drive wellness, engagement and performance to build our bench for future succession
• Work with your Field VM and Merch partners to provide customer and store insights to drive results and to create great experiences for our customer
• Manage store schedules and wages effectively to achieve productivity and wage targets
• Advocate for the Cotton On Group Foundation, leading the team on how they can make life changing impact on our projects around the world
