Job Description:
- We have an exciting position for a PS Officer Specialized.
- The individual will be expected to Plan, execute, and manage security related projects.
- They also be responsible to manage, supervise and develop the team of surveillance room operators to ensure that they perform their duties and that employees and assets are protected within the law.
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Continuously liaise with the Supervisor on security activities.
- Ensure that safety and legal standards are adhered to in performing Security duties.
- Ensure that operating standards and procedures are up to date and understood by the team.
- Monitor and advise on the settings of monitoring equipment to optimize performance.
- Monitor the process regularly to ensure conformance to and understanding of security standards.
- Administers security codes used in the facility.
- Control issuing and receiving of all security equipment to team.
- Issue, receive and register all equipment in the department like specialist security equipment.
- Ensure that materials, resources and equipment are available and in working order for the team’s requirements before shifts.
- Conducts inventory and stock checks at different security points on a monthly basis.
- Ensure that the Security initiatives facilitate the need of the operation.
- Compile accurate security reports including incident and investigation reports.
- Allocate required job instructions to CRO/Technicians.
- Complete regular audits and observations required in the Unit.
- Ensure that system administration requirements are complied with.
- Ensure that investigation information is accurate and secure.
- Support disciplinary and grievance inquiries.
- Identify potential conflict situations and minimize the implications.
- Control discipline and ensure fair decisions regarding ER policy.
- Ensure competency of employees in team for the work required.
- Encourage co-operation and teamwork as well as cooperation between team and clients.
- Testify in criminal court/CCMA.
- Perform CIA duties as required.
- Abides by and understand all security codes, standards, procedures and orders.

Qualifications:

Experience, Knowledge and skills
Minimum 5 years’ experience in security or equivalent environment technical knowledge(experience) required for role:
- 2 years technical security experience
- 2 years’ experience in supervisory position
- Vast knowledge on security systems and product identification
- Architecture knowledge of; Two-way radio network ,CCTV , Watch manager and Online Intelligence
- Data storage management – archive, uploading and distribution.
- Advance CCTV surveillance skills
- Advance CCTV body language Skills
- Proficient in computer literacy (MS Office package).
- Advance skills in statement taking and report writing.

Job Description:
- Come and join this dedicated team as a Senior Foreman Mechanical where you will be responsible for managing the discipline of engineering supervisory, budget and technical service.
- Compliance to operating relevant procedure Work instructions, MHSA compliance, and GTS-group technical standards
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assist the Operation management team in developing an operational plan for the year to support the process in achieving throughput objectives.
- Undertake to plan, up to 1 year ahead and assists with 5-year planning, the budget requirements according to the planned maintenance schedules verses operational targets and budgets.
- Undertake to plan the spares requirements according to the planned maintenance schedule and ensure their availability
- Liaise with the Operation management team regarding daily, weekly and monthly progress to plan, budget and employee resources.
- Oversee that all work practices are executed in compliance with legal requirements.
- Regularly communicate progress of section against operational targets and objectives via a design communication and supervisory forum to subordinates.
- Plan daily, weekly and monthly work requirement and priorities with operational team
- Allocate labour resources and equipment to scheduled and priority activities so as to maintain and ensure high levels of labour, equipment and operational performance standards
- Liaise with the other Supervisors to ensure that any problems that could overlap with other sections are pro-actively identified and discussed
- Oversee the development of a healthy spirit of co-operation within the section.
- Identify operational priorities within the section that would ensure the optimization of the section’s performance.
- Monitor the process to identify any possible problems or risk areas to the section and schedule remedy actions.

- Accompany the Engineer regular inspections and audits around the section.

- Provided regular support to both the process operational and technical employees within the section as well as to other sections on boiler making matters.
- Takes charge during crises and major overhauls.
- Conduct regular inspections on all works to ensure safety and maintenance of technical standards.
- Assist / guide the Maintenance Clerk to supply reliable maintenance information.
- Assist with the succession planning process of the section.
- Hold disciplinary and grievance inquiries.
- Identify potential conflict situations and minimize the implications.
- Control discipline and ensure fair decisions regarding Industrial Relations
- Fairly manage cultural diversity.
- Ensure competency of employees for the work required.
Compile accurate reports.

Job Description:
- The incumbent will be responsible for development and execution of Technology Development activities within the Technology Development framework and portfolio; broadly to improve existing system performance and to develop new marine mining systems or associated specialized equipment.
- Deliverables may be achieved through both individual work, as well as coordinating the activities of others.
Key tasks include:
- Collaborate with clients and management to plan and coordinate Technology Development activities, including managing projects, improving existing mining/sampling systems, and developing innovative solutions.
- Manage/Co-ordinate Technology Development project activity per assignment area or interpreted strategy
- Conceptualize, evaluate and develop new mining/treatment systems as required
- Capture and share technical knowledge through documentation, presentations, and discussions, while supporting the operational readiness and integration of new systems.
- The incumbent will be required to go to sea as and when required.

- B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering degree
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in simulation/CAE/CAD including expert use of MS Excel for simulation and modelling where appropriate.
- Experience in assimilating knowledge gained into appropriate formats and databases, and dissemination of technology through technical reports and presentations.
