The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing activities related to the processing of monthly payroll including maintaining or updating SAP HR Master Data and organisational structures, coordinating the salary increase and STI payment process through the payroll system, preparing Cost of Employment (COE) statements for Human Resources divisions, when requested and preparing special reports for management in accordance with established policies, procedures and controls. The Salary Specialist is required to have an advanced understanding of the payroll function.
Key performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
Provide a cost effective payroll administration service compliant with corporate governance and statutory requirements.
Provides an effective and efficient salary controlling administrative service to meet the HR department and business requirements
Build effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Continuously review systems and processes to improve efficiency and cost savings

The intention is to give practical work experience to students who are in their last year of study or have completed their qualification and require exposure in a work environment. Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract commencing February 2021 and terminating January 2022.
