    Data Center Facilities Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Have the market insight capability, be able to grasp the data center market trend, major players, and sales models in South Africa, and complete opportunity insight analysis.
    • Be able to analyze the gap between Huawei and major market players and provide feasible suggestions.
    • Have general knowledge of data center energy, HVAC, and integration. Have a basic command of bidding rules and standards in the data center domain.
    • Be able to operate independent sales projects

    The major responsibilities will be negotiated at the beginning of each year, the work priorities vary according to the specific market situation. Personal responsibilities are jobs dedicate for this position. Team responsibilities are jobs for the whole team.

    ICT Service Market Insight Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze the market and industry, including market segmentation, market space, and market trends (macro environment, business, technology, and value chain).
    • Clearly understand the addressable market and future development trend of the market segment.
    • Periodically manage and maintain cooperation resources (consulting companies and analysts) and obtain the latest market news and intelligence from the cooperation resources.
    • Analyze customers, including customer segmentation and value, customer behavior, customer strategic partnership analysis (CSPA), and customer satisfaction. Study the customer's future investment space, pain points, transaction behavior, and business model.
    • Undertake the analysis of competitors, including comprehensive analysis of major competitors, deep-dive analysis of competition in a specific topic, routine tracking of competitors' financial reports and emergencies, and issuing warnings as required.
    • Analyze the impact of behavior and requirement changes on carriers and their suppliers for carrier users, including individuals, families, and enterprise customers.
    • Participate in strategic planning, business planning, product initiation, and marketing strategy formulation.

    Position requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree in communications or computer science.
    • Minimum of 6 years of technical experience in the CT or IT industry.
    • Technical background in processor management (MBA), marketing degree, and experience in a consulting or market research company in the ICT field is preferred;
    • Understand the trends and new technologies (viewpoints) in the CT or IT industry, and master one or more types of products and solutions in the ICT field, such as telecom network, DC, cloud computing, application software, server, storage, and IP network.
    • Be familiar with CT or IT services and technologies, such as network integration services, managed services, network planning and optimization, customer experience, and OSS/BSS. Technologies, products, and solutions related to data centers, cloud computing, OpenStack, OpenFlow, and SDN/NFV;
    • Have a deep understanding of professional services in the CT or IT domain.
    • Have strong logical thinking, communication and expression capabilities, and strong service awareness.
    • Good command of English and be able to take business trips outside China.
