    Network Cabling Technician

    Your role will be to support management in meeting and exceeding the overall objectives of the Technical Department working as part of our team to install, troubleshoot, and repair various voice and data cables for residential and commercial environments. This position is immediately available.

     

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Install, maintain, and repair cable systems, most often involved with data and voice networks
    • Test and troubleshoot issues with network cabling
    • Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly
    • Pull, route, trace, and/or label fibre and ethernet (CAT5 or CAT6) cables
    • Be able to splice fibre cables to connect client environments to our network
    • Install various support structures, including cabinets, trunking, conduit, or related structures
    • Communicate and collaborate with other members of the engineering team to resolve connectivity issues
    • Document network by labelling cables, and compiling drawing of installation
    • Provide accurate time/work logs and notes
    • Provide high-quality service to all customers
    • Maintain customer rapport by listening and resolving concerns, provide updates, answer questions or escalate to the Technical Project Manager for resolution if required
    • Work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment
    • Able to operate automotive equipment and hand power tools
    • Carry out the mechanical and physical installation activities
    • Maintain inventory levels of consumables (conduit, trunking, cables, tools, and more)
    • Take instruction from the Technical Project Manager or company management

    Requirements:

    • 1+ years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing cable for network communications
    •  Valid Driver’s License (code 08) required with a clean driving history
    • Ability to work well in a team or independently
    • Good verbal and written communications skills.

    Sales Administrator

    This is a critical sales administrator role providing backend support to frontline technical sales resources. The person will engage directly with suppliers & clients. and will manage the procurement and stock for Kibo Technical.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Receive and action inbound customer sales inquiries and provide quotations, product and service information, support and pricing information and promoting the features and benefits of the company’s products and services
    • Receive and action internal sales queries from the sales team, account managers and technical department
    • Service all external clients and internal departments with the same customer-service in a professional and prompt manner 
    • Establish good relations with customers and understand their requirements
    • Grow and foster strong relationships with customers through the use of company CRM platform, phone calls and personal work activities
    • Deal with procurement ensuring that our company sales process is adhered to and properly implemented
    • Process sales orders and arrange the purchase, delivery, installation and payment for products and services sold by the company
    • Manage supplier relationships
    • Receive, manage, respond to or escalate where necessary, all incoming complaints regarding our products and services
    • Solve any customer requests by proactively offering ideas and insights to improve the customer’s issues and challenge
    • Follow up on every issue and ensure complete satisfaction and maximum utilization of the product or services sold to customers
    • Keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
    • Identify potential sales leads and escalate them to account managers where appropriate
    • Efficiently and effectively assisting with all sales related duties within a fast-paced technology environment
    • Educate yourself on the company’s products and services
    • Manage the internal Inventory and stock Picking.

    Requirements:

    • Experience in the IT space
    • A solid and verifiable knowledge of all current IT terminology and technologies;
    • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel); 
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Ability to cope with a pressured environment
