    Temporary Quality Control Officer QCO0405

    Purpose: 

    The incumbent is responsible for all mentioned areas as described, but will primarily be responsible for one area on a rotating basis. The two areas of responsibility are to verify the final packed product of quality control. The incumbent is responsible for and will continually strive to ensure that only food safe, quality products and services that meet all applicable standards and requirements (legal, regulatory and client), are supplied with integrity of quality control measures and rectifications of final packed product.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualification in process management, quality control, food technology
    • 2-5 years experience in natural or food sciences and work-related experience in production and/or quality assurance environment
    • Sound knowledge of the requirements of the implemented quality and food safety standards
    • Driver’s license (code EB)
    • Prepared to work shifts

     Skills Required:

     Job Summary:

    • Verify that all samples required for the evaluation of a production run are sampled and submitted to the laboratory for analysis.
    • Execute the isolation and registering of non-conforming products related impacting on positive release.
    • Execute daily final packed product verification according to Product specifications (PSP, BOM and DIM) and as per bottling plan.
    • Perform all quality measurements (DO; CO2; TPO; Bubble sizes) ensuring conformance to specification.
    • Perform continuous line inspections.
    • Communicate deviations from specifications to relevant parties and or register Non-conformances where required.
    • Assist with isolation/block of non-conforming products.
    • Perform verification and approval of production orders prior to stock handover between packaging and warehousing.
    • Adhere to prescribed Health and Safety principles.
    • Maintain good housekeeping and 5S in your area of responsibility

    Field Sales Representative FSGN0804

    Purpose: To promote KWV brands and products in a specific geographical area by visiting outlets e.g. Taverns, etc.) as per a contracted call cycle in order to increase brand awareness and visibility of the KWV brands and increase sales and market share.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric/Grade 12, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
    • At least 2 years relevant FMCG experience in the liquor industry will be advantageous.
    • Computer literate.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license without endorsements, with at least 6 months driving experience (post-date of license issue) A Company vehicle will be provided
    • Availability for frequent travel and possible overnight stay
    • Must be fully bilingual in English as well as the geographical areas preferred language e.g (Xhosa, Zulu, Tswana, etc.)
    • Weekend and Flexible working times as per Business Operational Requirements – 40 hour work week

    Skills Required:

    • Strong sales skills and experience
    • Knowledge and understanding of the area’s ethnic culture
    • Sound communication skills and the ability to read, write and speak English
    • Strong negotiating, relationship building and networking skills
    • Must have a passion for interacting with consumers in the Main market segment
    • Ability to operate independently
    • Must be self-motivated, innovative and self-driven
    • Must be a South African citizen

    Job Summary:

    • Educate consumers regarding KWV brands
    • Drive distribution i.e. availability
    • Implement promotions according to Main Market Customer Marketing Cycle Plan
    • Handle customer and consumer complaints and queries
    • Manage sales administration requirements i.e prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports
    • Negotiate displays and pricing
    • Ensure the implementation of the Sales Drivers
    • Implement promotions and Point of sale/merchandising in store
    • Adhere to contracted call cycle
