    The Mimecast Graduate Program

    Commencing in February 2020 and extending 12 months the Mimecast Graduate Program aims to provide young and talented graduates with an opportunity to receive the best start in their careers in one of the most progressive Cloud technology companies in the country.
    We are looking for an ambitious, go-getter, who wants to hit the ground running and learn the ins and outs of their prospective future careers by giving them a hand’s on approach. With 10% of our work force being part of our Graduate Program, this is a great opportunity to develop yourself with scarce skills in the world of Technology!
    During the course of the 12 month program you will focus initially on core skills training to develop the personal and professional skills needed to establish yourself within the Mimecast community. Thereafter, you will progress into the relevant division in which you have been appointed, where you will have a dedicated mentor, ready to groom and guide you in your first year of work.

    Responsibilities

    Brief Role Description:

    Mimecast prides itself on the highest levels of customer service both externally and to our internal community. Our Internal IT Team is plays an integral part of the business leading the way in what good customer service looks like. This is a very busy position that encourages interaction with internal staff and requires a self-motivated individual who is keen to learn from the bottom up.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Helpdesk call management and remote support assistance
    • Hands on support and problem solving of real live IT cases
    • Involvement and co-ordination of projects, both locally and globally
    • Regional and global team membership
    • Exposure to firewalls, AV, VoIP, telephony and Mimecast internal tools, software and hardware
    • Workstation and networking device management and configuration, upgrades and deployment
    • Basic network troubleshooting
    • Basic active directory administration, maintenance and troubleshooting
    • Basic exchange administration, maintenance and troubleshooting
    • Mimecast certifications and experience on our internal software and processes
    • Microsoft certified courses and exams
       

    Qualifications

    Essential Qualification/s:

    The successful graduates must have completed the following in the last 2 years:

    • Degree or diploma in IT

    Customer & Sales Support Graduate

    As a member in our Go To Market Support Desk, you will be part of a fast-paced, customer centric, sales orientated environment, providing efficient skills in 3 core fundamental areas, that of sales, customer experience via channel/partner management through the form of an internal call center. However, while most of the responsibilities will be completed via phone and email, there will opportunities to attend meetings, events and other external activities from time to time.

    This person will be responsible for providing sales and administrative support to the sales, CX and partner teams. Telephonic small business sales, upgrades and all general small business customer support. The candidate will be a point of contact for inbound queries and assist with the management of our CRM systems and internal SharePoint system as well as the partner portal. Other roles will include data assessment and validation as well as report keeping and collaboration.

    • Web lead management
    • Live chat support and responses
    • Partner support and query management
    • New and upsell quoting for partners, Business Developers; Partner Account Managers and Account Managers
    • Supporting documentation management, readily available
    • Call down day and lead management and prospecting (cold calling)
    • Campaign code updating into Netsuite (CRM system) records for ROI event tracking
    • Order processing and assistance
    • Customer Account Optimisation reporting
    • Reporting on and running of product upgrade activities and campaigns
    • Netsuite Management, leads, opportunities and prospects
    • Prospect list vetting and collaboration
    • Marketing event support, internal and external
    • The Knowledge (SharePoint) Management
    • Partner portal support, training and management
    • Partner agreement management and enquires
    • Upsell for sub 50 seat customers
       

    Qualifications

    Essential Qualification/s:

    The successful candidate must have completed the following in the last 2 years:

    • BCom
    • BA
    • Business Administration Diploma, Management & Marketing

    Finance Graduate


    Mimecast’s Graduate Program will provide insight into the day to day activities of a publicly traded SAAS company. You’ll have the opportunity to work across various roles within the Middle East and Africa Accounting function that include Accounting, US GAAP Reporting, Sarbanes Oxley Compliance as well as assisting with quarterly and annual financial audit. You’ll get insight into how we are progressing post IPO as an Accounting department while being public, and how we want to scale given our rapid growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    T he Finance Graduate will be responsible for:

    • Assist with month-end close process relating to journal entries and account reconciliations
    • Support the accounting team in preparing and delivering compliance and audit requirements
    • Help processing accounting transactions and assist with day to day treasury
    • Assist with Interoffice reporting deliverables for financial year end
    • Special projects that span various functions within Accounting and Finance
       

    Qualifications

    Essential Qualification/s:

    The successful candidate must have completed the following in the last year:

    • Completed at least an undergraduate Finance or Accounting degree
    • Currently working towards Honours degree in Finance or Accounting

    • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
