    Sales Representative

    Job Description    
    Purpose of the job:

    • Star Bakery has an exciting opportunity for a person who has passion for sales.  Responsible for maintaining and growing existing targets across client base by following the call cycles.  Analysing and interpreting sales data to make the correct decisions to achieve targets in the Retail and General Trade.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interpretation of sales data and implement action plans to generate new business, grow existing business and maintain the current businesses.
    • Working hand in hand with distribution to ensure deliveries are timeous
    • Service levels to customers are at an acceptable standard
    • Stock and Price management
    • Managing Returns
    • Regular reports on progress
    • Putting order through
    • Opening and negotiate New business accounts
    • Communication and interdepartmental synergy
    • Run Promotions and follow the Marketing strategy
    • Regular route riding

    Qualification Requirements

    Supervisor: Dispatch

    Job Description

The Supervisor: dispatch position is responsible to administer the despatch process including handover from production, printing of documentation – invoicing and various other admin tasks. Account for all stock received and despatched. Ensuring departure of trucks of am/feeders and depots in full and on time.     Qualification Requirements

    Experience Requirements    

    • 3 years supervisory experience in a similar role in an FMCG environment
    • Warehouse and stock management experience

    Key Outputs    

    •  Assist with stock control by assisting with monthly stock counts as required by management (transfers and GRVS)
    •  Checking load documents and verifying that all is in order and verifying that seals are correct
    •  Receiving of products from production and Intercompany
    •  Transfer cages kept locked after products are received.
    •  Stock/GRV transfer into GP.
    •  Stock count & recons done at the start and end of shift by both parties during handover.
    •  Checking load documents and verifying that all is in order and verifying that seals are correct according to bulk picking slip.
    •  Account for all stock being dispatched
    •  Reconciling of Stock per shift. (Stock recon must be done on every shift).
    •  Keeping dispatch storage areas neat and tidy
    •  Update daily reports to Dispatch Manager
    •  Delivery Vehicle loaded as per pipeline on time
    •  Plan Depots loading of trucks and making sure that all stock is timeously loaded
    •  Making sure that all staff have their PPE all the time. Also monitor time and attendance
    •  Conduct the Depot claims (ITO queries)
    •  Truck inspection done prior to loading. (Food Safety requirement).
    •  Adherence to all relevant SOP’s
    •  Explain all stock variance
    •  Accurate order requirements sent to production
    •  Conduct shift invocoms

    General Worker: Loader

    Job Description    

    • Premier Mthatha Bakery is currently looking for a Loader to join their team. This position will be reporting to the Despatch Supervisor, with the responsibility of loading and offload bread on site. This is a 6-day position and if you meet the below requirements, then we are looking for you.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Matric
    • Experience Requirements    
    • Offload and loading bread according to offloads/ loading SOP
    • Follow pipeline loading/offloading sequence
    • Tray count and balancing of trays in a truck
    • Attend daily invocoms
    • Ensure that quality bread is loaded / offloaded
    • Ensure a correct stock rotation (FIFO)
    • Report back on loading /offloading related matters to offloads supervisors
    • Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures
    • At least 3 months’ experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry
