Job Advert Summary    

• Reporting to the Single Accommodation Officer the incumbent will ensure that all rules and regulations are adhered to, so residents can live in an orderly manner. Cleaning and maintaining all Single Accommodation area’s according to hygiene and statutory requirements to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. Ensuring the cleanliness of the residential areas. Promote the healthy living conditions for residents to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12 or NQF level 4 equivalent
• 3 Years’ experience in Hostel/Single Accommodation – Cleaning environment on Supervisory level.

Primary Duties    

• Inspect the hostel daily to ensure that all security measures and furniture are in place.
• Do inspections on resident’s rooms to see if any damages occurred and residents adhere to rules and regulations.
• Inspect all area inside and outside, gardens and all buildings for cleanliness and defects.
• Ensure a healthy and safe environment.
