    Customer Administrator

    Job Description    

    • Siqalo Foods is seeking a Customer Administrator to join their Spreads Division. The role will be based in JHB and report to the Customer Excellence Service Controller.The Customer Administrator will business partner with the customer development account team, providing order management  & supply chain specialist expertise while resolving operational exceptions & issues. 

    Minimum Requirements    

    • National Diploma or studying towards a diploma/degree in Supply chain or finance

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Customer relationship management
    • Optimise service through analysis of losses, driving improvements and collaboration with the Customer, Customer accounts team as well as the broader supply chain team
    • Engage Siqalo SC Teams to ensure stock availability and Maximize order acceptance
    • Ensure Data Integrity of orders being placed via Customer ordering tools
    • Proactive management of order transmission deadlines
    • Ensure alignment of Customer Forecast to that of Siqalo Operational Forecast
    • Exception handling and resolution through collaboration
    • Ensure accuracy of regional forecast to ensure stock availability when and where needed
    • Reporting and analysis of customer data to drive service and efficiencies
    • Monitor KPI trends

    Transport Supervisor

    Job Description    

    • RCL Foods is recruiting for a driven, highly energized, fleet orientated Transport Supervisor within the baking business unit.
    • The suitable candidate will be required to ensure Workshop administration, responsible for supporting the workshop department with all admin related duties in the management of the vehicle fleet.
    • This role will be based in Durban and reporting to the Transport Manager.

    Minimum Requirements    
    Education and Qualification:

    • Grade 12
    • Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

    Experience and Training:

    • Minimum 3 years supervisory/management experience in distribution/transport
    • FMCG experience
    • Experience working with JDE advantageous

    Skills:

    • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
    • Good numeracy
    • Good computer literacy – especially Excel and e-mail

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Vehicle repairs and maintenance

    • Ensure drivers’ checklist sheet is completed daily by every driver
    • Schedule vehicle services as close as possible to the correct service mileage and not greater than 1500 km’s before or after the service mileage
    • Ensure drivers are recording faults in fault book.
    • Capture faults onto spreadsheet and follow up to ensure faults are fixed timeously
    • Identify or be made aware of urgent, high risk faults or damage and ensure the vehicle is repaired immediately or fix as quick as possible
    • Order spares for vehicles as and when required

    Accident or other vehicle incidents

    • Compile accident reports
    • Complete claim forms for insurance and follow up on all insurance claims
    • Arrange for vehicle repairs
    • Investigate accident or incident and take action where necessary, including co-operation with the police

    Route tracking

    • Ensure trackers on vehicles are in working order
    • Monitor routes to ensure drivers are not idle for too long and not going too far off route. Query when they are deviating.
    • Recording and monitoring of mileage per route and investigate deviances

    Fuel consumption

    • Reconciliation of fuel recon from supplier against driver fuel slips
    • Investigate discrepancies
    • Monitor fuel consumption and where non-compliant with company standard, address the driver and provide training if necessary to help driver to lower fuel consumption

    Transactional duties

    • Proactive monitoring of vehicle licences, drivers’ licences and PDP’s to ensure always valid and up to date
    • All administration and handling of vehicle licences
    • Driver check-up and debrief when driver returns from route and ensure all issues from driver’s checklist are closed off.
    • Receive traffic fines and submit to traffic department to convert into driver’s name

    People Management

    • Set daily objectives for staff, ensuring full productivity and value add to the business
    • Monitor staff performance weekly and give regular feedback, taking disciplinary action when necessary and giving recognition where it’s due.
    • Conduct performance assessments twice yearly with department staff
    • Hold monthly meetings with staff and provide feedback to senior management

    General

    • Attendance at inter-departmental meetings and give input related to vehicles and drivers
    • Take disciplinary action against drivers when they have breached company rules and procedures.
    • Ensure all delivery vehicles are washed at least once a week

    Assistant Brand Manager

    • The ABM will support the Brand Manager to drive growth of the brand within the Pet category through execution of the annual brand plan activity that has a consumer centric approach to communication and innovation for the brand.

    Minimum Requirements    
    Minimum Requirements:

    • Marketing Related degree or diploma
    • 1-3 years relevant experience in a similar role and environment
    • Ideally with some FMCG experience

    Key Skills:

    • Strong digital marketing expertise.
    • Strong people management skills – to enable strong collaboration with internal and external functions 
    • Strong administration skills and Microsoft skills (Excel, PPT etc)
    • Good ability to communicate across the business and across levels of authority 
    • Pro-active work ethic and growth mind-set

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Brand Communication Support:

    • Provide support to the Brand Manager in his/her role.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of the annual brand strategy.
    • Play a key role in brand guardianship – ensuring all communications and materials adhere to brand guidelines
    • Execute and project manage agreed activities emanating from the marketing strategy and brand plans across a range of channels.
    • Conduct brand audits and competitor reviews for annual brand planning process
    • Develop agency briefs and manage some interaction with agencies and partners, including RCL FOODS internal in-house Studio
    • Assist in the identification and development of brand building ideas.
    • Support the management of digital content creation and social media content 
    • Closely monitor and analyse sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity.
    • Budget management and monthly tracking
    • Campaign reporting and optimisation and share and present learnings with broader marketing team when appropriate

    Brand Innovation Support:

    • The marketing strategy and brand plans across a range of channels.
    • Project management and leadership of small and medium innovation projects (quantified by the business as bronze, silver)
    • Co-project lead big innovation projects (Gold and platinum)
    • Work closely with project management team of specialists on BOSCARDS and Gate document process

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Work closely with Customer & Customer Marketing team on execution of in-store initiatives and promotions
    • Work closely with CMI team to leverage consumer insights to support execution of marketing plans
    • 3rd party agencies and in house studio

    Administration:

    • Administer and manage budget, raising POs, invoices
    • Manage NPD gate documents and process
    • Maintain and safeguard records, reports and NPD files.

    KPI’s:

    • Efficacy of support to the Brand Manager
    • Performance against standards and targets

    Information Analysis, Management and Reporting:

    • Build trade insights through regular trade visits and interaction with Customer team
    • Build relationships with agency partners and assist with day-to -day management of account and campaigns
