    Sacker

    About the job
    Summary

    Key Requirements:

    • The Sacker is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. He/She performs grocery sacking and other front-end courtesy duties, such as carrying groceries to guests’ vehicles, mopping, sweeping, spill clean-up, general housekeeping, and other front-end duties as may be assigned by management.
    • When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest
    • Help provide ultimate service to guests by sacking and taking groceries to their vehicle
    • Hustle in and out of the store safely during carry outs
    • Encourage guest participation in satisfaction surveys
    • Encourage guest participation in rewards program
    • Responsible use of resources in order to help ensure the store remains profitable
    • Follow daily work schedule as assigned by management
    • Follow dress code in accordance with team member handbook
    • Follow attendance and tardiness guidelines in accordance with team member handbook
    • Report spills or item damage to management and replace product for guest in a safe manner (never leave spills unattended)
    • Perform sacking duties in accordance with video training film to ensure proper handling for guest safety, convenience and value
    • Move from check stand to check stand as guest flow dictates
    • Greet and speak politely with every guest; this includes on grocery aisles, in parking lot, etc.
    • Replace sack supply as necessary
    • Perform occasional stocker duties as assigned by management; this may include stocking milk, bread and eggs as requested
    • Performs other duties as requested or required by management

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ability to work in fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
    • Ability to perform all physical aspects of the sacker/stocker duties including but not limited to bending, lifting, standing, squatting, climbing, walking and at times running (During peak business hours in particular, must be able to move quickly from parking lot to check stand area)
    • Ability to lift items weighing up to 80 lbs. on a regular basis
    • Ability to place items weighing up to 80 lbs. in floor board and trunk space of vehicles
    • Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
    • Ability to function as a team member and get along with others

    Checker

    Summary:
    Key Requirements:


    The Checker is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction.  He/She will perform all checking and other front-end courtesy duties, including but not limited to spill clean-up, general housekeeping and other duties as assigned by management.

    • When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest
    • Scan all items, beginning with the bottom of the basket
    • Properly ID customers per company policy when purchasing alcohol and/or tobacco products
    • Help guests find items when necessary
    • Follow daily work schedule as assigned by management
    • Encourage guest participation in satisfaction survey
    • Encourage guest participation in rewards program
    • Encourage guest participation in promotional programs when applicable (e.g. Monopoly Game, Rewards Promotions, etc.)
    • Follow dress code in accordance with team member handbook
    • Follow attendance and tardiness guidelines in accordance with team member handbook
    • Perform sacker duties, when necessary
    • Replace sack supply as necessary
    • Perform occasional stocker duties as assigned by management
    • Perform other duties as requested or required by management


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Must maintain Alcohol Seller/Server Certification
    • Ability to work at fast-paced but efficient and controlled manner
    • Ability to perform all physical aspects of checker/sacker/stocker duties including but not limited to bending, lifting, walking, squatting, climbing and at times running
    • Ability to operate all checking equipment, keep accurate records, count money and make change
    • Ability to lift to a height of 4 feet, items weighing up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
    • Ability to place items weighing up to 80 lbs. in floor board and trunk space of vehicles
    • Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
    • Ability to function as a team member and get along with others

    Pharmacy Clerk

    Summary

    Key Requirements:

    • The Pharmacy Clerk is first and foremost is responsible for guest satisfaction. He/She is responsible to the company for the efficient, safe, effective operation of certain tasks within the Pharmacy.
    • When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest
    • Responsible to our guests and for building a reputation for ultimate guest service
    • Responsible for Point of Sale transactions for prescriptions sold to our guests
    • Maintain confidentiality when handling patient records
    • Assist with guest charge and delivery records
    • Selling of Nonprescription drugs in their original containers
    • Stocking and cleaning of pharmacy shelves
    • Labeling and putting order away
    • Ordering pharmacy stock
    • Mailing out prescriptions
    • Other duties as assigned by management
    • May not perform any duties expressly outlined by the State Board of Pharmacy as duties designated for a registered technician or technician trainee

    Key Responsibilities

    • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
    • HIPAA certification (can be obtained through United Spirit University)
    • Flexible schedules, including evening and weekend hours required
    • Experience in retail pharmacy is a plus
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Perform all other physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, standing and walking for 8-10 hour period
    • Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
    • Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
