    Client Services Consultant

    • Aon South Africa is recruiting a Client Service Consultant in our High-Volume Client Service Centre based on a hybrid basis from our Head Office in Sandton. The role of the client service consultant, as the primary point of contact with clients, is to service clients in line with the MOS and company growth strategies.

    What the day will look like

    • Responsible client servicing in managing and coordinating all related activities including building a “client profile” of risks and needs analysis.
    • Takes responsibility for and ownership of tasks and problems relating to clients.
    • Provides professional and accurate advice to clients, including explanations to clients on cover, exclusions, terms and conditions and ensuring clients are advised of any underwriting requirements in terms of the policy.
    • Generates referrals from clients through great service, accurate advice and knowledge of insurance.
    • Liaises and develops relationships with colleagues across the business and other key role players in the business.
    • Negotiates cover and rates with on behalf of clients.
    • Processes all policy documentation on relevant system including the loading of endorsements and confirming all endorsements.
    • Responsible for recording all claims across Affinity.
    • Responsible for accident management and emergency services.
    • Responsible for maintaining an e-mail calendar.
    • Responsible for generating own correspondence.
    • Adheres to the minimum Quality and Service Standards laid down by the Division.
    • Keeps up with market trends within the insurance industry and is aware of competitor products/ offerings.
    • Responsible for maintaining and improving client satisfaction and retention,
    • Responsible for compliant dealings with clients.
    • Responsible for general administrative and ad hoc duties that may be requested from management from time to time.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12. (Matric)
    • The necessary Regulatory examination qualification
    • The necessary minimum insurance qualification
    • Registration as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS ACT

    Knowledge

    • Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of personal insurance
    • Knowledge of market trends within the insurance industry
    • Knowledge of competitor products
    • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

    • The role of the Learning & Development Officer is to support the L&D Manager in providing learning & development initiatives according to business requirements that supports the talent development strategy.

    What the day will look like

    Your responsibilities will include the following:

    • Arrange and coordinate all internal training sessions by booking venue, booking delegates, arrange refreshments, compile training manuals (where applicable) and obtain training registers afterwards.
    • Book all external training with providers and obtain training registers afterwards.
    • Process all training related invoices for payment.
    • Process all study loans and bursary applications.
    • Ensure accurate physical and electronic record keeping.
    • Ensure all supporting documents are collected, signed and filed.
    • Responsible for data integrity on the HRMIS system to ensure accurate reporting.
    • Compile and submit quarterly board reports as well as any ad hoc reports.
    • Compile and submit annual statutory reports (WSP, ATR, etc.).
    • Responsible for accurate tracking of submission of skills reports as per company or legislative requirements.
    • Assist the L & D Manager with annual management and coordination of the Learnership Program, the Internship Program, the Graduate Program and the Bursary Program.
    • Assist the L & D Manager with training projects as and when required.

    Qualifications.

    • Be in possession of Grade 12 (matric).
    • Be in possession of a Diploma in Human Resources/ Human Resources Development/Education.

    Knowledge.

    • Have knowledge of training related legislation and requirements in South Africa.

    Skills and Attributes.

    • Be computer literate with experience in MS Excel & Word
    • Well-developed communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Excellent administration skills.

    Experience.

    • Previous experience in a training environment will be advantageous.
