    Admin Officer: Corporate Service Relations Management, Ref No. AGR 69/2025

    Job Purpose

    • The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to assist in the coordination of departmental operational service delivery obligations as required by the CSC Service Level Agreement.
    • The successful candidate will be required to travel away from Head Office from time to time. This may necessitate travel between Elsenburg, Cape Town and/or department district offices in the province. Remote working is not a possibility.

    Minimum Requirements

    Key Performance Areas

    Director: Strategic Communication (42-Month Contract Post) Ref No. DOTP 74/2025

    Job Purpose

    • The Western Cape Government is looking for an individual with a public relations and strategic communication background who is able to develop and manage, end-to-end, the execution of a comprehensive, issue-based and strategically-aligned communication strategy across all media forms, including through media campaigns, that grows awareness of the provincial government’s policies, programmes and work, amongst citizens.
    • The role is also responsible for giving support and strategic guidance to media professionals across the organisation to ensure that on-theme, high quality communication outputs and outcomes are achieved, within the time and resource envelope.
    • For this reason, the person must have a thorough understanding of the media- and Public Relations landscape, all media channels and how to interface professionally and meaningfully with ad agencies. This post is stationed in Cape Town, CBD.
