    Key Accounts Manager - Nelspruit

    Description

    1. Grow the Value of New Business

     

    • Align the National Sales Strategy with the Key Account Strategy and the implementation thereof
    • Contribute to the growth of the in force book by 1% a month
    • Monitoring of withdrawal performance per Market
    • Monitoring of collection persistency
    • Acquisition of new worksites – guided by defined client profile and strategy
    • Implement retention initiatives at worksites/Markets
    • Implement agreed initiatives to achieve production targets and deliverables

    2. Distribution Management

    • Management of distribution channel in line with National strategic objectives.
    • Effective management of resources
    • Perform opportunity assessments and monitor market share and growth
    • Manage and monitor activities of the allocated Markets
    • Develop a plan to penetrate markets and diversify Products as per set target
    • Identify and facilitate up and cross-selling opportunities within the Group
    • Stakeholder management and engagement both internally and externally

    3. Efficiency Management

    • Effective management of resources
    • Effective resource planning for the region for the short and long term
    • Promote the Digital drive to the Stakeholders and Clients
    • Liaise and manage the Regional projects that are in line with the Key Account Management mandate

    4. Identify and maintain worksites

    • Develop and implement sales strategy for each worksite
    • Conduct market research and provide guidance in terms of current and future business opportunities
    • Business development and unearthing of new sales and business opportunities
    • Undertake appropriate planning for new and existing markets
    • Co-ordinate and direct sales and market initiatives

    5. Manage the Regulatory requirements

    • Ensure adherence to legislative requirements, Assupol and worksite processes, procedures and policies
    • Quality and relationship management of the Markets
    • Full compliance to legislative requirements

    6. Reporting obligations

    • Submit Monthly KAM reports
    • Participation in Sales meetings

    Requirements

    FORMAL EDUCATION

    • 3-year tertiary qualification (Business/Commercial/Management/Marketing)

    TECHNICAL/ LEGAL CERTIFICATION

    • RE 5 (Advantage)

    EXPERIENCE

    • 3-5 years’ experience in the Insurance Sector or Financial Services Industry, preferably within the worksite marketing environment.
    • Market and business development experience
    • 1 -2 years Sales management experience
    • 2 years Internal and External Client Networking
    • 2 years Key Account Management and Marketing experience.
    • 2 years Stakeholder management

    Specialist: Compliance (Market Conduct) - Menlyn

    Duties & Responsibilities: 

    Contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the Compliance Function

    • Assist manager to ensure that the compliance function are in compliance with law and industry and regulatory body requirements ito Market Conduct
    • Promote prevention of legal and regulatory risk in the company (TCF)
    • Maintain efficient and effective operations in Compliance
    • Validate that policies and procedures with regards to Compliance Function are being adhered to. (TCF)

    Responsible for Compliance Monitoring and Reporting

    • Conduct compliance monitoring according to the approved annual compliance monitoring plan.
    • Monitor compliance risk, policies and procedures within the designated region(s)
    • Maintain the standardized monitoring procedure.
    • Complete monitoring reports
    • Provide overall compliance assistance, guidance and advice to Assupol Group of Companies
    • Contribute to the completion of compliance reporting (internal and regulatory)
    • Conduct monthly oversight of advice process on regional level in accordance with the agreed Standard Operating Procedures

    Provide Training and Awareness on Compliance Matters

    • Organize and facilitate monthly compliance training within the designated region(s)
    • Create awareness in Assupol Group of Companies with law requirements (TCF)
    • Inform employees about relevant compliance matters
    • Develop, educate and enabling healthy and business orientated compliance culture
    • Contribute to the development of compliance risk management plans (CRMP)
    • Update the Exclaim system where applicable

    Market Conduct responsibilities

    • Co-ordination of Market Conduct function 
    • Liaise between managers, team and other departments
    • Follow-up on responses and reports from managers
    • Manage incoming correspondence from the regulator or any other industry body
    • Department communication
    • Update the Market Conduct Framework as required

    Market Conduct Committee

    • Prepare and consolidate reports
    • Prepare documentation e.g. reports, presentations and memos
    • Distribute the meeting pack to committee members and other stakeholders where applicable in accordance with the Terms of Reference.
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and executives, directors, committee members, company secretary and others, where appropriate
    • Preparation for meetings: Preparation of meeting packs (agenda, minutes and other required material)
    • Take minutes at the Market Conduct meetings and distribute minutes where necessary
    • Maintain compliance records pertaining to the Market Conduct function and the Market Conduct Committee

    Requirements

    • Formal Education
    • Legal, Compliance, Risk or relevant qualification / equivalent or studying towards the qualification.
    • Compliance Certificate (Advantage)
    • Registered with CISA (Compliance Institute of South Africa)

    Experience:

    • 6-12 months in a compliance role
