    Data Scientist

    The Role

    Constantly review and analyse supply chain data to identify opportunities to optimise OTIF, adherence to plan and cost targets from material supply to finished goods as well as build algorithms and design experiments to merge, manage, interrogate and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, customers or the wider organisation.

    Responsibilities

    Data analysis and reporting

    • Create processes and methods to automate information gathering across the value chain
    • Maintain and track accurate data to support supply chain decision making
    • Review, streamline and automate all internal and external Supply chain reports
    • Constantly review supply chain data and ensure necessary inputs are fed into the planning and production cycle
    • Develop and maintain detailed process maps of key value chain processes to assist with optimisation and simulation

    Support Supply chain analytic Centre of excellence

    • Descriptive- , Diagnostic-, Predictive- and Prescriptive analytics: Advise on optimum product rise and work centre allocation and improve level loading in work centres
    • Obtain and analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
    • Use analysis results to improve supply chain processes, performance and to reduce costs.

    • Develop frameworks to identify the value of implementing advanced tools and technologies within the Aspen value chain (IOT, Big data, Blockchain, Machine learning, AI)
    • Support the creation of LP/MIP capability within Aspen and create the framework/Tools for data engineering, digital twin, optimisation and simulation

    Requirements

    • Grade: 9

    Background/experience

    • 2 to 4 years’ relevant experience, preferably in planning, or analytics centre of excellence role
    • Experience in data management and advanced analytics
    • Postgraduate degree or diploma in a relevant field

    Specific job skills

    • Computer literacy with particular proficiency in programming and BI tools

    Competencies

    • Data management and data engineering skills to enable optimal data process and methodology
    • Expertise in advanced analytics
    • Excellent analytical and abstraction reasoning skills, as well as problem solving ability

    Supply Chain Modeler

    Overview

    Constantly review and analyse supply chain data to identify opportunities to measure and improve key KPIs, analyse and design business processes; identify alternative solutions to exploit new technologies and automation. Develop graphical representations of business processes to facilitate understanding and decision making, select, tailor and implement business process improvement methods and tools at programme, project and team level as well as investigates operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements.

    Responsibilities

    Data analysis and reporting

    • Create processes and methods to automate information gathering across the value chain
    • Review, streamline and automate all internal and external Supply chain reports
    • Develop and maintain detailed process maps of key value chain processes to assist with optimisation and simulation

    Create Supply chain analytic Centre of excellence

    • Transfer knowledge and insights to all business levels with effective data representation using various BI tools
    • Root cause analysis of why key Supply chain KPIs are not met
    • Use analysis results to improve supply chain processes, performance and to reduce costs.

    Operational Input

    • Assist in the planning and implementation of supply chain optimisation projects (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning, inventory optimisation)
    • Prepare the required documentation for the IBP Supply review meetings and support the process and methodology

    Industrial Engineer

    Responsibilities

    Process alignment

    • Develop and publish deadlines, targets and measures, and communicate departmental targets and outputs
    • Plan, prioritise and review technical plans for the improvement of production and facility equipment
    • Facilitate meetings to analyse process input variables and interpret impact upon customers’ needs
    • Develop and update process documentation and training materials to support new or modified processes
    • Evaluate, justify and qualify changes in existing processes or process equipment
    • Review production information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services. This includes, but is not limited to, production schedules, process flows and engineering specs.

    Project management and coordination

    • Manage CI, site loss elimination and lean improvement projects to provide greater value, implementing relevant tools and processes
    • Provide technical support to SCM, writing technical specifications

    Continuous improvement (CI)

    • Focus on measurable quality, service and cost improvements
    • Work with departments to develop training material pertaining to processes, raw materials, equipment operations and operator safety
    • Elicit production and operational issues from operators
    • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve equipment, manufacturing process and facilities issues
    • Standardise/ modify existing manufacturing processes to increase robustness, reliability, and compliance and reduce production costs, lead times, inventories, downtime and waste
    • Implement and monitor corrective action and innovative action within set target dates
    • Design control systems to minimize and resolve production issues and project costs

    Reporting

    • Prepare technical reports for all work performed
    • Present process-related data and communicates issues related to projects for review and discussion

    Requirements

    • Grade: 11

    Background/experience

    • At least 3-5 years' relevant manufacturing experience
    • National Diploma in Industrial Engineering or related discipline
    • At least 1 years Project Management Experience
    • At least 2 years Lean Manufacturing Experience

    Maintenance Planner

    Job Summary

    Develop and execute maintenance plans that ensure safe and efficient execution of routine maintenance work, establish standard job plans for repetitive maintenance tasks as well as lead legal compliance of maintenance operations. 

    Responsibilities

    Planning and Operational Support

    • Act as a lead technical expert/ subject matter resource
    • Optimise and facilitate implementation of current processes
    • Identify gaps in current policies and procedures
    • Propose changes or improvements to processes, tools, techniques

    Maintenance Planning

    • Plan short term maintenance strategies
    • Develop detailed job plans that insure safe and efficient execution of all maintenance jobs
    • Manage maintenance work notifications and work order backlogs
    • Coordinate with production to ensure job plans meet timing requirements
    • Forward ready to schedule jobs to Maintenance Scheduler
    • Manage and report on maintenance work and associated costs
    • Recommend, review and implement new and existing PPM schedules
    • Develop, maintain and update facility and equipment registers
    • Document machine breakdown history and associated costs
    • Analyse maintenance trends and machine/ equipment deviations, and recommend improvements to mitigate any risk
    • Prepare shut-down plans for planned maintenance in collaboration with relevant departments
    • Communicate deviations to shut-down plan on the day
    • Analyse and report on spares for critical and/ or stores items
    • Follow management of change process for new materials for job completion to ensure risks are properly controlled
    • Create purchase orders for required components not in stock
    • Set up planning system and reports
    • Monitor condition of equipment and machines
    • Plan statutory inspections as per regulatory requirements
    • Audit PPM schedules and job cards to assess adherence
    • Build job plan library especially for high frequency jobs

    Reporting and record-keeping

    • Maintain records of asset care documentation
    • Consolidate information for reports on weekly/ monthly basis
    • Analyse consolidated data and provide recommendations
    • Compile detailed and standardised reports
    • Monitor and control access to and set-up of electronic databases
    • Retrieve supporting documentation and records to facilitate and support query resolution

    Requirements

    • Grade: 9

    Background/experience

    • Trade Tested Artisan (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation) with 2 to 4 years’ post Apprenticeship experience; or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2 to 4 years’ related experience
    • SAP PM Maintenance Planning experience

    Specific job skills

    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling
    • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, standards and compliance requirements
    • Adequate craft knowledge and skill to accurately estimate resources
    • Advanced technical background in Good Engineering Practices
    • Ability to interpret and implement policies, processes and objectives
