Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent
• Red Seal – Electrician trade
• Have 5 – 7 years’ experience
• Be computer literate
• Have knowledge in fault finding, PLC instrumentation, high voltage switching, earthmoving equipment, aggregate crushing, and screening processes
• Be able to interpret electrical drawings

Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

• Executing daily electrical maintenance (PM maintenance scheduling and ensures all electrical equipment operates to required OEE’s).
• Identifying causes of electrical dysfunction and repairing using appropriate solutions.
• Ensuring safe work practices and compliance with all SHE legislation
• Compliance of all electrical work to SANS0142.
• Submission of required reports.
• Report any unsafe working procedures.
• Assisting with the training of handymen and learners.
• Be prepared to work after hours when needed.
• Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Will be able to work independently as well in a team environment.
