    Sales Executive (Engines / Power Generation)

    Job Summary

    EarthStream Global is representing a global provider of diesel and gas engine technologies, they are currently looking to employ an experienced Sales professional who has experience selling diesel and gas engines within the Power Generation and Industrial Application fields.

    You will be tasked to proactively promote and sell engines and related services to Equipment manufactures. In this role you will also have overall responsibility for both the customer, and equipment manufacturer within a certain territory and engine application. It is a role that is supported by service and specialist salespeople due to the high complexity and nature of the business

    The successful candidate will have some of the following responsibilities:

    • Prospecting: Contribute to identify potential customers and create sales opportunities where the company can deliver value to the customer and be profitable.
    • Contacting: Build and maintain long term business relations with selected customers and equipment manufacturers at the right level.
    • Quoting: Create offer by verifying prospects’ needs, translating into tailored solutions, negotiating deal and follow-up.
    • Finalizing deal: Close the deal and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
    • Delivering Engine to client: Handover to the client in coordination with the Sales back-office

    The successful candidate will meet the following key selection criteria:

    • Higher education in sales discipline or equivalent experience
    • 5 – 7 years’ experience in sales environment, preferably within the Power Generation and Industrial Application field
    • Strong knowledge of diesel and gas engines, or electrical technology (i.e. generators) is a strong plus

    Contracts Manager (contracts/maintenance/ service agreement/commercial vehicles/aftersales )

    Job Summary

    EarthStream Global is representing a global manufacturer of trucks and buses, they are currently looking to employ an experienced aftersales service agreement specialist to look after service and maintenance contracts under their contracted services portfolio. As the Service Contracts Manager reporting to the Commercial Services Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing and promoting the Contracted Services portfolio providing value for customers and contributing to the company’s profitability.

    The successful candidate will have some of the following responsibilities:

    • Manage a portfolio of service contracts aimed at providing value to customers.
    • Continuously make projections of final contract costs and compare those with the total projected revenues, contract by contract.
    • Establish proposals to minimise potential contract losses while still providing a sustainable contract solution to the customers.
    • Act as auditor of the national Contracted Services operations in the national network to ensure correct allocation of costs to contract.
    • Promote the contracted services through communication and via sales tools, marketing material etc.
    • Establish and review the national legal contract documents for Contracted Services. Ensure all legal documents and processes are vetted and approved by legal, risk and compliance officers in the organisation.
    • Constantly follow up on contracts in progress, potential new deals and renewals and provide support where necessary.
    • Set agenda for standardized work methods and improvement activities and manage resources within the same department.

    The successful candidate will meet the following key selection criteria:

    • Matric
    • At least 2 years Managerial experience in a similar role
    • 5 years’ experience in the Transport/ Commercial /Heavy Vehicle Industry preferably in Aftersales, Wholesale or Finance.
    • Strong contract experience with cost control exposure
    • Must be very customer centric
    • Must be highly analytical with a creative flair
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and advanced in Excel
