    Boiler Maker

    The purpose of this role : 

    • The Boilermaker is responsible for fabrication, installation, and repair of sheet-metal, structural, and piping components across milling, packaging, and site facilities. The role includes flour transfer equipment, blow-lines, square-to-round ducting, and air and water pipeline installations, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality workmanship to support plant and facilities reliability.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Trade Tested Boilermaker N3
    • 3–5 years industrial fabrication experience, preferably in FMCG, milling, or facilities environments.
    • Strong sheet-metal fabrication skills including square-to-round and ducting applications.
    • Proficient in MIG, TIG, SMAW, and oxy-acetylene welding and cutting techniques.
    • Experience in fabrication and installation of air and water pipelines.
    • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, pipe layouts, sketches, and templates.
    • Experience working on blowers, blow-lines, and pneumatic conveying systems.
    • Strong understanding of marking-off, measuring, alignment, and fit-up techniques.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Fabricate and install sheet-metal components including ducting, chutes, guards, spouting, blow-lines, and blower housings.
    • Fabricate accurate square-to-round transitions, cones, reducers, bends, and manifolds to specification.
    • Manufacture and repair blower casings, fan housings, and plenum boxes ensuring correct alignment and airflow efficiency.
    • Fabricate, install, and repair pipelines for compressed air and water services, including supports, brackets, and isolation points.
    • Carry out facilities-related fabrication work such as platforms, handrails, walkways, stairs, frames, and general plant steelwork.
    • Install and align pneumatic blow-lines and air services, ensuring correct routing, expansion allowance, and support spacing.
    • Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), and oxyacetylene (cutting and brazing).
    • Carry out marking-off, joint preparation, tack welding, full welding, pressure/leak testing where required, and finishing.
    • Execute breakdown repairs and corrective fabrication work during production and shutdown periods.
    • Participate in planned shutdowns and rotational standby duties, responding to emergency callouts.
    • Strictly adhere to LOTOTO and permit-to-work systems during fabrication, piping, and installation activities.
    • Ensure GMP and food safety standards are maintained, including burr-free fabrication and hygienic finishes in production areas.
    • Accurately complete job cards, fabrication records, and maintenance documentation.
    • Maintain housekeeping of workshop areas, tools, welding equipment, and gas storage.
    • Work collaboratively with millwrights, electricians, instrument technicians, and facilities teams.
    • Support root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Process Leader – CCD (Centurion)

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Production Planning:

    • Communicate the objectives of the plan to the team on shift to ensure understanding.
    • Ensure man load is at full capacity according to the production plan, and request additional resources if necessary, before starting the line.

    Operations Management:

    • Follow the assigned plan until completed or a problem arises.
    • Alert the Senior Process Leader to any deviation to the production plan immediately.
    • Prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Conduct the required checks on start-up, during the shift, and sign off, and ensure the relevant data is recorded correctly.
    • Do calculations to establish the most efficient use of resources allocated to the line, i.e. cost, people, time, etc, ensuring that these are neither wasted nor misused.
    • Adhere to man load requirements.
    • Ensure allocated resources are accounted for throughout the shift.
    • Reallocate resources/work within area of responsibility if behind target, and change deadlines if necessary to ensure the achievement of production targets at the lowest possible cost.
    • Request additional resources if necessary to produce the required product mix.
    • Alert the Senior process leader where there may be spare capacity.

    Safety, Health, Risk and Quality Compliance:

    • Work consistently according to standard operating procedures and ensure compliance.
    • Understand the safety, health and quality standards of the job and the reason for these standards, and communicate these reasons to others.

    Monitor safety on the line:

    • Ensure that protective clothing is worn by all employees in accordance with food safety standards.
    • Apply all other food safety standards in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Check that access doors and gates are locked at all times to prevent unauthorised and unmonitored access.

    Monitor hygiene on the line:

    • Ensure the line meets all hygiene standards before start-up, taking corrective action where necessary, and informing the Senior process leader where there may be delays in start-up.
    • Sign off with the cleaning team to ensure the cleanliness of the work area.
    • Check that shut down cleanout and housekeeping are done properly.

    Monitor SHEQ compliance:

    • Ensure compliance to HACCP and ISO regulations throughout the whole process.

    Cost Control:

    • Issue PPE to Operators according to procedure.
    • Motivate where additional PPE is required.
    • Monitor the line to ensure work is executed consistently according to standard operating procedures to minimize waste and reduce consumption where possible.
    • Monitor the usage of materials.
    • Draw the correct quantity of packing material from stores to match planned daily utilisation in production.
    • Identify and report wastage of materials/product.
    • Report machinery and equipment that is not in good working order immediately to enable correct levels of production output.

    Team Supervision:

    • Ensure direct reports operate within boundaries set.
    • Supervise people performance.
    • Supervise the activities of the team to ensure production targets are met.
    • Actively manage non-performance. Initiate disciplinary hearings as needed and according to RPM standards.
    • Monitor time and attendance daily and report on absenteeism.
    • Complete all time sheets and attendance registers on a daily basis.
    • Coordinate leave requests and escalate for authorisation:
    • Complete leave and general time management documentation in line with company policy.

    Stock Allocations Planner (Fixed Term Contract)

    • Our Talent Team is on the hunt for a Stock Allocations Planner on a 6 Months Fixed Term Contract for our Livekindly Collective Africa Division. The role will be based in Westville and will report into the Supply Planning Manager.
    • The Stock Allocations Planner will be responsible to maximize customer service by allocating the available stock fairly across all orders received from direct customers, planning stock required for depot replenishment as well as planning stock to storage, while constantly considering the opportunities for cost saving within the distribution network. Be the first line of stock related queries for all distribution related operational queries and get these resolved.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • 3 year Diploma or Tertiary Qualification in Commerce/Supply Chain/Logistics Management; SAPICS preferred but not mandatory.
    • 3-4 years operational experience within Outbound Supply Chain Planning (demand and supply), Call Centre or Distribution environment.
    • Computer literacy (MS Office and particularly Excel).
    • Advanced Excel/ PowerPoint.
    • Must have experience in SAP/Syspro.

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Functional Strategy into Action Operationalisation:

    • Work in conjunction with the manager(s) in the Outbound Supply Chain team to deliver the functions strategy into action.
    • Facilitate integrated supply chain delivery by managing relationships and interaction with cross functional teams and/or external service providers.
    • Ensure the agreed SIA is implemented through delivery of own and team targets.
    • Execute any assigned outbound supply chain planning projects when applicable.

    Replenishment Planning of Stock to Depots/Branches:

    • Using the forward demand plan, determine anticipated future orders by depot and plan stock into storage facilities ensuring adherence to targeted days cover.
    • Target days cover should be determined using the national forward demand plan split down to depot level, using a historical sales split (usually 3-4 months history) plus taking into account any known promotional activity in that region.
    • Take in account any allocated or fixed pallet spaces or model stock by depot when planning stock into the warehouse to ensure no excess stock is not pushed into the warehouse.
    • Days Cover targets must take into account frequency of inbound replenishment deliveries, variability of demand as well as projected forward sales.

    Allocation of Available Stock to Customer Orders:

    • On a daily basis, review all direct customer orders and branch orders to determine whether they can be fulfilled and from where.
    • On acceptance of the order, allocate the stock to the order in SAP/Syspro, including which warehouse the stock will be despatched from.
    • Before allocating stock to customer orders, ensure they are not on credit block.

    Primary Transport Planning:

    • Daily, book vehicles with the Primary transport service provider/team to ensure required customer delivery day can be met.
    • Ensure that vehicles are booked with a minimum of 48-hour lead time.
    • Ensure that the daily communication from primary transport team is aligned to what was agreed when planning the vehicles.

    Customer Export Order Management (where applicable):

    • Manage orders received from export customers through the supply chain. These may be handled either as Make to Order or can be drawn from stock in some regions/ categories.
    • Assist and advise Consumer and the Export Team on any issues that may arise (eg: production delays, stock age).
    • Work with the production planners to ensure production is planned with sufficient lead time to meet the required despatch date.

    Stock Management and Reporting, but not limited to:

    • Proactively manage stock age, slow moving and obsolete stock across all stock holding points and make recommendations on how to clear stock for the categories being managed.
    • Review stock levels both within own network, including Vector or other service providers bulk facilities, and external service providers at a branch level and take corrective action where days cover either exceeds maximum or is below minimum covers.
    • Monitor the days cover by SKU and action plans when stock is either below target (raise with the production planner to determine if stock is scheduled for production or determine if it can be brought in from elsewhere) or in excess of target, raise awareness with the sales team.

    Customer Service Levels Analysis and Query Resolution:

    • On a daily basis, monitor order fulfilment and stock holding by running customer service level reports daily to correct any service failures if possible during that same week.
    • Work directly with the call centre, distribution, customer team, and supply planning where appropriate, to ensure that customer expectations are met and report any deviations.

    Stock Allocation Tool Management and Execution (where required):

    • Fully understand the functionality of the stock allocation tool on SAP and use it correctly in order to manage the agreed allocation of stock to customer.
    • Attend the appropriate meetings where stock allocation decisions are made to ensure full understanding of the business intention.
    • Using the outcome of the meeting, ensure that the stock allocation tool is correctly updated to ensure the business decisions are accurately executed.
    • This tool will be used to manage customer jabs, stock shortages, stock auctions for consequential chicken, etc.

    Distribution Budget Input (when required) and Cost Management:

    • Provide input into the annual distribution budget using historical assessment of stock holding and daily transport requirements.
    • Work closely with the distribution service provider, transport and warehousing teams to find opportunities to save costs and improve supply chain efficiencies.
    • Work closely with national planning to minimise stock holding and transport costs.

    Information and Data Management:

    • Ensure all open direct orders and branch stock transfer orders are cleaned weekly.
    • Ensure all incomplete orders are actioned and/or closed.
    • Review orders on SAP/Syspro daily to ensure that no orders are missed out and inadvertently not actioned.
    • Ensure all orders cancelled by customers or deferred to another week are rejected by the Friday of the current week.

    Outbound Supply Chain Projects (where required):

    • Be involved in any allocated projects that drive cost savings (warehouse, transport), system improvements (e.g.: SAP, Syspro and other system tools), customer service improvements as well as new product launches and discontinuations.

    Sales Representative (Sunshine Bakery)

    • We are seeking Sales Representative who is brilliant at the basics to join our Baking Division. The purpose of this role is to ensure efficient customer service is maintained in order to increase sales volumes and improve market share. This role will be based in Kokstad and report to the Area Sales Manager.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • Degree in Sales/ Management (will be advantageous)
    • 2 years minimum experience in a FMCG sales environment
    • Valid EB Drivers License (Code 08) & own vehicle

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Set Sales budgets volumes monthly will be achieved

    • Monthly action plans to be provided and implementation of a minimum of 4 Displays per month
    • Conduct weekly reviews meetings with agents
    • Compile monthly action plans to achieve targets by customer.

    Call Center Agent

    Job Description    

    • Siqalo Foods is seeking a Call Center Agent to join their Spread division. The role will be based in Boksburg and report to the Call Center Facilitator.
    • The purpose of the Job is to process inbound/outbound sales orders and assist with customer queries including delivery times. quality complaints, product enqquires, out of stocka, amending the SDL and depot queries.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12
    • NQF Level 4 or Matric Equivalent Certificate or N (C) V Level 4
    • NQF Level 5 Higher Certificate in Customer Service/ Sales/ Marketing
    • Must have at least 1 year work experience in the Call Center environment

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Inbound/Outbound Sales Order Processing

    • Capture orders accurately for assigned customers (correct orders and dates) within the requisite time.
    • Read back orders and confirm each line and reference number.
    • Process and email add-on’s and JIT products before the cut off time.
    • Ensure the completed detailed activities are captured in CRM.
    • Ensure no orders are mailed through by COB to Planning team.
    • Provide the call lists to the customer care facilitator for completion and signature at the end of the day.

    Administration and Protocol Compliance

    • Run and check VAO5, futuristic orders, duplications, completed call lists, open activity reports on a daily basis.
    • Inform customers of load exceptions and dropped stock.
    • Rebook the DSL and short deliveries.
    • Update the customer base, call lists and activities on a continuous basis and email the information to superiors.
    • Advise the customer care facilitator of complaints logged by customers.
    • Ensure that the work station is organised and orders are filed daily.
    • Administer pick up slips.

    Communication

    • Ensure clear communication to respective depot staff on all add-on’s, special deliveries and short/incorrect deliveries.
    • Communicate with respective PSC’s on stock outs and amendments.
    • Liaise and follow up with delivery queries (i.e. delivery times, late deliveries and delayed/broken down trucks).
    • Assist customer representatives with store queries.
    • Advise respective parties of problematic customers and provide assistance in finding resolution to issues.

    Team Coordination

    • Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning, prioritising and self-development.
    • Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.
