• Make up bank, ensuring that it balances daily
• Record cash and cheques in cash-up summary
• Prepare deposit for bank
• Record seal numbers in register
• Keep the cash office door locked at all times
• Lock cash in safe overnight
• Previous days taking to be removed from premises in a timely manner
• Keep cash shortages to a minimum

• Grade 12 (with Maths & accounting)
• 2 – 3 years’ experience as a cashier or bank experience as well as general office experience
• Computer literate (Word, Excel & Syspro)
