    SHEQ Practitioner - Lilianton

    Job Description

    • Ensure that production personnel, contractors, drivers and site visitors receive SHE induction before entering production areas.
    • Monitor the implementation of safe work procedures, maintain and update all relevant SHEQ related documentation and records.
    • Ensure firefighting equipment, safety and emergency response equipment are serviced and inspected within the required timeframes.
    • Carry out the monitoring and measurement of SHEQ statistics (man-hours, electricity usage, incidents, near misses, gas usage, how many audits done, how many non-conformances etc.).
    • Assist in development and implementation of emergency response procedures and evacuation plans on site and offices.
    • Ensure that emergency plans are communicated to staff and visitors.
    • Review data and provide feedback on Contractor SHEQ files.
    • Facilitate SHEQ Risk Assessments (RA’s)
    • Develop and implement SHEQ controls.
    • Conduct SHEQ incident investigations, root cause analysis and facilitation of learning
    • Maintain SHEQ Management systems (e.g. ISO, PSM, CAIA, etc.)

    • Develop SHEQ training material and Facilitation of SHEQ training
    • Co-ordinate internal and external audits and inspections.

    • Ensure effective management of the SHEQ budget

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Grade 12 with post matric qualification (Safety, Environmental, Engineering or equivalent).
    • A Management/Supervisory qualification would be advantageous.
    • Process safety knowledge advantageous
    • Requires ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 qualification with auditing
    • Must possess 5-8 years working experience in a Chemical Operating environment.
    • Previous experience in the agrochemical industry would be advantageous.
    • Requires demonstrated Risk Management Knowledge and Skills
    • Must possess influencing and coaching skills
    • Must be able to analyse and interpret data/analyses and make recommendations.
    • Must possess good communication (verbal and written), engagement, planning, organisational, presentation, report writing and inter personal skills.

    • Load products into haulers and/or distributors
    • Operate bitumen spray equipment as per company procedures
    • Ensure spraybar is flushed and cleaned at all times
    • Flush tanks as per flushing matrix to prevent product contamination

    Machine Operator - Lilianton

    Job Description:

    • Assist with cleaning/decontamination tasks, i.e. draining/cleaning of vessels/pipes, unblocking of pipes, etc.
    • Optimize packing machine run times by reporting downtime due to drum shortages, breakdowns, etc.
    • Required to report all downtime to the Team Leader immediately.
    • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained in areas of responsibility.
    • Respond to instructions received from the Team Leader.

    • Able to drive a forklift, be medically fit to drive a forklift and be in possession of a valid forklift driver’s license.

    • Minimum of 6 months’ forklift driving experience.
    • Required to maintain medical fitness to drive a forklift in order to successfully have the forklift driver’s license renewed.

    Job Description

    • Responsible for ensuring that the weekly production programme and targets are achieved.
    • Checks in advance of scheduled production the availability of raw materials and packaging material.
    • Monitors production output and raw material usages.

    Job Description

    • To process all samples correctly and timeously according to the procedure.
    • Inform the microbial Team Leader when external samples are received for analysis
    • Assist with the wash and count of mycorrhizae samples that are submitted to the lab as per the protocol.
    • Ensure that all samples are submitted for the plate count method are received, recorded and labelled as per the protocol including concentrated power as well as final products and test samples.

    • Develop and implement a transfer pricing strategy that aligns with AECI global operations
    • Prepare and maintain the necessary documentation and reports required for international tax compliance and transfer pricing, such as Master File, local files, country-by-country reports, and BEPS reporting as per OECD guidelines
