    DTP Operator ( Layout Artist)

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Interpreting of briefs to the brief objectives. 
    • Layout and design leaflets and POS from inception to completion.
    • Ensure consistency of all Layout and design material to brand guidelines.
    • Meticulous attention to detail & ability to problem solve in a challenging retail environment.
    • Work closely with creative team to develop effective marketing communications.
    • Efficiently manage and check own  artwork.
    • Provide support to line manager.

    Minimum requirements

    Requirements

    • Appropriate Degree or qualification in Desk Top Publishing
    • 3– 5 years experience in DTP/Layout Artist role within a reputable agency
    • Retail layout experience is beneficial
    • Strong layout skills
    • Multitask and deadline driven
    • Fast, efficient  and Accurate
    • Manage self and work within a team
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 6 (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)

    Pharmacy Manager - Clicks Atlantis

    Job Objectives:

    • To ensure and to provide high standards of pharmaceutical care, accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and the provision of advice in accordance with Clicks’ way of working, good pharmacy practice and within the legal scope of practice as outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
    • To efficiently manage and control all operational activities of the dispensary, including safe and responsible stock management, shrinkage, general housekeeping and administration in line with merchandising, SAPC regulations and company standards.
    • To ensure the operational viability of the dispensary through sound financial management, focus on core dispensary and clinic targets, management of expenses and proactively taking appropriate action as required.
    • To ensure competent and motivated employees, including learners and interns, through effective selection, leadership, management and on-going development in order to build capacity and capability to meet current and future business needs.
    • To adequately schedule staff in line with the labour policy and the relevant labour model in order to ensure each department is fully and appropriately staffed, including ensuring weekly time and attendance and employee records are complete and submitted to HR.
    • To manage customer service initiatives in the dispensary that results in a great customer experience, drives customer loyalty and achieves club card participation targets.

    • Financial management experience (budgets, profit and loss statements, financial ratios, etc.)

    Creative Manager - Packaging

    Job Objectives

    • To lead, manage and mentor the Clicks packaging design team, including senior and junior creative designers, finished artists, illustrators, photographers and freelance designers in order to deliver to plan
    • To develop and communicate our brand objectives, by planning, resource sourcing and multitasking workload across the internal staff and external agencies to deliver

    • To maintain responsibility for all freelance hiring, rate negotiation and management whilst making sure the internal design team is working as efficiently as possible 
    • To perform the sourcing of and directing outside resources ie: production agency, photographer, make-up artists, stylists’ illustrators and models, while building and maintaining professional relationships with a network of resources.
    • To provide a strong support base to the Creative Executive in order to create the best sustainable design agency & design hub with top South African talent.

    • Minimum 7 years management experience in leading teams, conducting performance reviews & measurements
