    Procurement Specialist (Sourcing)

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Degree in commerce/finance, supply chain management, or related field
    • 3-5 years’ experience in sourcing and project management
    • Demonstrated knowledge of economic indicators, cost drivers, and cost analysis
    • Success in developing relationships with suppliers, driving cost efficiencies, performance improvements, and continuous enhancements

    Familiarity with specific categories:

    • Outsourced Labour
    • Transport, Warehousing
    • IT

    • Experience in third-party management is advantageous
    • CIPS Qualification/Membership Preferred

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    Strategic Support:

    • Understand category strategies and plans, delivering category analysis and sourcing exercises
    • Develop short, mid, and long-term strategies for sub-categories
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine requirements and apply professional sourcing methodologies
    • Drive engagement with the Business regarding procurement requirements

    Operational Management:

    • Forecast demand for goods/services
    • Coordinate product/service distribution methods
    • Ensure timely delivery, negotiated pricing, and quality standards compliance
    • Monitor supplier performance and compliance with procurement policies
    • Negotiate supply agreements and maintain competitive pricing
    • Review and analyze contract requests and amendments

    Job Description    

    As an Area Marketer, you will be required to be an effective marketer to area customers by maintaining regular contact and providing relevant solutions based on a clear understanding of the customers’ business, the macro environment, and Vector products.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric
    • Diploma (preferable).
    • Valid Code EB drivers’ licence.
    • 1 to 2 years direct selling experience.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    Customer Engagement:

    • Where not defined, establish an effective route plan to achieve maximum call rate efficiencies each day for the quarter.
    • Conduct research, preparation and planning to achieve the relevant objectives for both Vector and the customer. This includes: Analysis of the customer’s micro (business objectives, operational capacity, storage facilities, wastage etc) and macro environment (trends, competitors, economic climate etc).
    • Analysis of Vector products and capabilities so that the right solutions can be matched to the gaps or opportunities found in the customer analysis.
    • Setting SMART call objectives for each customer (at least 2 per call).
    • Preparation to handle potential objections. Preparation of questions to gain insight and lead customer to the right solution.
    • Securing the necessary resources to demonstrate to the customer the relevant solution (e.g. products needed for demonstrations, financial tools, product brochures, etc).
    • Based on the above analysis, put together a quarterly planner that shows potential revenue and new line listings, by customer, to deliver against set targets.

    • In call, follow up previous sold solutions and present new opportunities based on real insight from the research and analysis done.
    • Take orders of new line listings and other relevant solution products. Launch new products into assigned customers.

    Management Accountant FTC

    Job Description    

    The role requires a self-starter with strong analytical ability. The Management Accountant will be driving the process of collating data and automating operational KPI’s and deliver insightful analysis, drive process improvement (operations and reporting) in line with the RCL strategy and ultimately maximize business value.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Minimum B.COM Accounting/Management Accounting (non-negotiable)
    • At least 2 years operational cost and management accounting experience. 
    • Strong knowledge and experience with data reporting tools, including Microsoft PowerBI.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • SAP and Syspro experience ideal.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Through close interaction with senior management, commercial and financial accounting teams, operations, and other functional stakeholders, deliver on the following:

    DATA COLLECTION FOR KEY KPI REPORTING

    • Work closely with team members to collect data and execute the company’s reporting requirements.
    • Analyze business requirements and processes, recommending improvements to management and executives.

    REPORTING & AUTOMATION OF KPI’S

    • Drive complete, accurate and timeous operational KPI reporting by ops teams.
