    WMS Analyst

    JOB PURPOSE

    The role to assist with the design, configuration, and support of Group IT and Operational processes on the Infor Warehouse Management System (WMS) and related solution set for Warehousing and Dedicated Contracts

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • For changes or new requirements, investigate and document the process, and systems requirements within the available technology and WMS solutions capabilities
    • Configure the bespoke WMS solutions to meet with expected requirements
    • Understand the full complement of functionality the WMS solution has and to provide expert advice on the best fit WMS processes and integration
    • Scope, design and write SQL queries for reports and integration
    • Scope, design and write SQL queries for Operational Dashboards
    • Actively participate end to end, when and where required assuring that specific projects meet their objectives and deadlines
    • Understand the advanced WMS business integration capabilities and be able to provide expert advice, using best practice and standardized ERP (Host) to WMS integrations strategies
    • Actively participate end to end in assuring that business integration and data interchange processes meet their set objectives during development, testing and implementation phases
    • Manage multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication
    • Document business process models and with the development of functional and technical specifications
    • Ensure that the required hosting environments for development, acceptance testing and production conform to the defined operating software, application, and hardware release levels
    • In conjunction with the Group IT and WMS teams, participate in capacity planning to ensure that there will always be adequate capacity to meet with relevant service level agreements and Group expectations
    • In conjunction with Group IT and WMS teams, ensure that required software and hardware upgrades are implemented with the least amount of disruption
    • Conduct regular risk reviews and assessments to minimize the effect of changes across all WMS projects
    • Set up and manage all communications between interested parties during the process where new and changed WMS process and/or related infrastructure requirements are planned for and implemented
    • All WMS application support requirements including 3rd party technology, considered to be part of the WMS solution support will be the incumbent’s responsibility
    • Training of staff pre- and go-live support for WMS and Group IT related changes
    • Supporting of system issues during and after office hours
    • Provide end to end support during stock counts and other strategic operational events

    Skills and Experience

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
    • Tertiary qualification in Warehousing and Distribution will be an advantage
    • Tertiary qualification in IT will be an advantage

    JOB - RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

    • 5 years' experience in configuring and maintaining a mainstream Warehouse Management Software Solution and Integration mapping
    • 5 years active operational involvement with warehouse solutions will be an advantage
    • Solid logistics/supply chain WMS related experience in mixed use, multi-client warehouses will be an advantage
    • Knowledge of the Infor WMS setup, configuration, reporting and support will be an advantage
    • Experience with Web services will be beneficial
    • WMS Process Flow and Documentation experience will be an advantage

    Senior Creditors Clerk - JHB

    JOB PURPOSE

    RTT Group Services invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Creditors Clerk. The role is responsible for management of allocated supplier accounts which includes data validation, reconciliation of accounts and maintaining a good relationship with the suppliers.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To ensure that policies and procedures are followed with regards to the utilisation of suppliers
    • Ensuring that invoices and statements received complies with the standard of valid documents
    • Interact with suppliers to ensure that statements and invoices are received on time.
    • Ensure that invoices are received weekly and processed on the system
    • Must be able to perform reconciliations accurately and timeously
    • Resolve queries on accounts, no queries older than 30 days

    • Assist with the take-on of new suppliers
