    Sales Representative: New Vehicles - Lindsay Saker Edenvale

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    • To ensure that the Brand and Dealership is actively marketed and promoted in the allocated, approved targeted market.
    • To penetrate the vehicle market in a well-organized, trained and professional manner.
    • To identify new and maintain current customers, to maximize Sale.
    • To ensure benchmark customer satisfaction and standards of the Dealer and Manufacturer are are maintained.
    • Achieve and exceed targeted sales units and first gross profit.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Matric Grade 12 essential.
    • Tertiary qualification (Desirable).
    • Valid Driver’s license.
    • VWSA – Preferably  VW Sales certification will be an advantage.
    • Premium brand Vehicle Sales - > 1.5 years.
    • Proven track record of an average CSI rating above national.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maximizing sales and profitability through satisfaction and retention of customers to meet sales forecast.
    • Developing the necessary sales organization to meet sales and profitability objectives.

    • Ensuring cost control to budget within the department.

    Experience and Knowledge Required:

    • A minimum of 10 years vehicle sales experience within the motor vehicle industry. Relevant experience in new car sales is essential.
    • A minimum of 3 years experience in a sales management role; managing, leading, administering and motivating a sales team to achieve objectives, to guide and implement effective sales processes and systems, and to ensure achievement of business sales objectives is essential.
    • A previous successful track record in sales is required.
    • Knowledge & understanding of OEM target management and variable margin programmes required.
    • Prior experience in Ford sales or similar brand - highly desired.
    • Sales compliance management required.

    Qualifications Required:

    • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)

    PROCESS AND GOVERNANCE

     

    • Contribute to the development of the appropriate strategy and set target within area of accountability. 
    • Define standard operating procedures (SOP's).

    • company policy.
    • Prepare VAT returns and ensure all documents are compliant in terms of SARS directives.
    • Secure the necessary resources to maintain service standards, facilitate problem solving and achieve objectives within budget.

    Specific Role Responsibilities
