    Responsibilities

    • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff with a friendly and professional demeanor.

    Chrome Experienced Plant Manager 3.1a

    Responsibilities:

    • Effective operation of the plant as an effective business unit to an agreed business plan and process parameters.
    • Develop 2-5 years resource and mining strategy and coordinate ore and services to the plant
    • Responsible for compilation and control of production, quality and cost budgets
    • Creating a high performing team and a conducive employee relations climate - people management (HR and IR) in a unionized environment
    • Ensures adherence to legislative requirements and the company’s Health and Safety Standards 
    • Financial Management (operational and capital cost budgets)

    Requirements:

    • Matric Certificate/ Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Science)

    • Post graduate qualification would be advantageous
    • Minimum 10 years post qualification experience on metallurgical plants and projects
    • 5 years plus in supervisory / management position
    • PGM flotation and chrome recovery plant experience non-negotiable
    • Valid medical fitness certificate - Fit for movement in plants
    • Code 8 driver’s license and own transport

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act, along with related legislation and statutory requirements, during the design, implementation and maintenance of the infrastructure and its related systems
