    Proof-reader/QA (Fixed-Term Contract)

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a proof-reader who will ensure that proof checking of copy is of high standard as well as copy checking, spelling & grammar checks on all work prior to going to client for approval. We need you to also keep abreast with language style, to understand these different styles that appeal to various target markets while developing and maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice. In addition, you will need to be familiar with the relevant style guides and deliver brief requirements within allocated time and it goes without saying be a team player!

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Proof check work before it goes to print – i.e., review documents for grammar, spelling, and style
    • Be proficient in basic and advanced grammar rules and understand how they are used
    • Be meticulous in reviewing copy, noting errors such as punctuation, spelling, and word usage, and accuracy and plagiarism.
    • Communicate effectively with the writers and the rest of the team
    • Fact-check dates and other statements for accuracy
    • Ensure text meets tone and character
    • Meet proofreading deadlines

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant experience
    • Fact-checking and research expertise
    • Excellent grammar and communication skills
    • Proficiency in basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office

    Junior Social Media Analyst (Fixed-term contract)

    Job Description

    • The Junior Social Media Analyst is responsible for assessing, reporting on and offering insights for the success of social media campaigns. By utilizing the social media toolset at the agency and analysing the brand’s social media ecosystem and performance of planned activity across channels, the Junior Social Media Analyst can help the agency demonstrate the effectiveness of strategies and creative activity. Social media analysts are also responsible for accurately depicting performance and recommending optimisations based on how audiences have responded.

    The role will entail:

    • Social listening tool setup including keywords, query parameters and dashboards.
    • Pull and interpret data from social listening tools such as volume, sentiment, influencers etc.
    • Analyze social media post metrics.
    • Analyze and report on content and campaign performance using social media management tools.
    • Report on website traffic using Google analytics.
    • Researching and recommending new social media trends and tools.
    • Create monthly, quarterly and annual reports to measure campaign performance and simply visualize data.
    • Work together with Strategists to provide actionable insights of social data for content improvement.
    • Stay up to date with, and compile thought leadership on social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments on social platforms.
    • Collaborate with the broader social media, strategy and creative teams to ensure insights are used for the optimisation of content.
    • Manage your workflow, time and meet agreed deadlines.
    • Good understanding of social media performance metrics, benchmarking and digital best practice.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant marketing/communications/business analytics diploma/degree.
    • Additional Social Media analytics and/or social listening certifications will be advantageous.
    • Minimum of 1 year working experience in the field of data analysis.
    • 2+ years’ experience in use of social listening and social media performance tools.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes.
