    Security Analyst

    You will join our growing technical operations team and work closely with the professional services and technical teams to develop policies and procedures.

    What you will be responsible for:

    • Maintaining and updating compliance documents and policies
    • Administer and review compliance program and assess system changes in the organization
    • Monitor and evaluate existing policies and procedures and help to recommend improvements to the compliance program
    • Evaluate all compliance policies and procedures and coordinate with internal teams to resolve compliance issues
    • Prepare and coordinate certification and assurance audits
    • Record audit findings, support implementation and recommended remedies
    • Develop and update existing policies and procedures to align with new compliance programs and frameworks
    • Respond to queries from assessors and maintain effective relationships with all business units

    What you will do in your first 3 months:

    • Audit of existing compliance and create a roadmap of changes
    • Gap analysis for new security frameworks and creation of Project Plan
    • Assist with the final implementation of POPIA in the organisation

    What you will do in your first year:

    • Setup compliance process
    • Complete implementation of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliance across organization
    • Implemented a new compliance software platform
    • Completed the ISO 27001 surveillance audit

    Requirements

    • 3 - 5 years experience with compliance and information security frameworks
    • IT related Degree
    • Ability to assess and analyse security processes in a systematic way
    • Track record of successfully project managing a compliance project
    • Ability to work well independently and within a team
    • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and third parties
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • A solid understanding of the regulatory compliance and risk issues that a Saas company might face
    • An aptitude for working in a regulated environment and for building compliance by design

    Sales Operations Manager

    Sales Manager Job Responsibilities:

    Project Administrator (Strategic Projects)

    We are looking for a Project Administrator to administer and coordinate projects within Electrum’s leadership team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in the leadership team. You will plan and track projects such as setting and communicating the company strategy and organising key customer events to help us maintain our competitive advantage. For this role you will work with the leadership team, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential. Your specific duties will include preparing plans, analyzing risks and opportunities, sourcing people or tools to execute the plan.

    Since you will be working closely with the leadership team to set and execute strategic projects, this project administrator role provides the unique opportunity to gain experience running projects, yet at the same time be close to where the direction of our fast growing company is set. This will set you up for a career in project management or strategic management.

    What your first 0-6 months would look like:

    • Within the first month you will be formally onboarded to all Electrum’s nifty practices, such as easy time logging and transparent emailing, and be immersed in the regular contact sessions of the leadership team. From month 2 onwards, you will start picking up some smaller projects; 6 months in you will be running our company-wide quarterly strategy setting and communicating initiative.

    Requirements
    What you’ll need:

    • Work experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, Change Management or similar role
    • BSc in Business Administration or related field
    • Experience with flowcharts, technical documentation and schedules
    • Strong MS Office skills, with good Excel & Word skills essential
    • Knowledge of project management software (e.g. Trello or Microsoft Project)
    • Strong administration skills and an eye for detail
    • Highly organised and proactive personality
    • A demonstrated interest in technology
    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

    Head of Product

    As Head of Product, you will be entrusted with three core areas of responsibility: ensuring the commercial success of the product portfolio, being custodian of the vision and strategy for the product portfolio, and building and mentoring a team of product specialists. This will require you to:

    • Maintain and communicate a clear vision for the product portfolio;
    • Nurture deep relationships with key customer decision-makers and leading industry players to understand their strategic needs;
    • Conduct research and analysis to gain a deep understanding of the market and discover opportunities for innovation;
    • Manage expectations of customers and internal stakeholders with respect to strategic product developments;
    • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure product messaging and value propositions are clear;
    • Work with Technical Operations to ensure the costs of running, maintaining and supporting the product are optimised;
    • Oversee product managers/product owners to ensure each product line has a sustainable pricing model, an actionable go-to-market strategy, a set of measurable leading indicators of success, and a value-driven roadmap;
    • Manage, guide and mentor the product functional group (including product managers, product owners, and user experience designers);
    • Manage the product budget and ensure it is aligned to the company's business goals;
    • Ensure the product functional group has adequate operational support in the form of processes and tools.

    Requirements

    • Post-Graduate Degree in Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Business Management, or the equivalent in working experience.
    • Minimum 8 years experience in the field of enterprise software product development in a technical or management role, with at least 3 years experience as a product manager.
    • Strong grasp of payments and the financial technology industry.
    • Track record of delivering successful products or product enhancements.
    • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convey information effectively to people with diverse sets of expertise and levels of seniority.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team of product specialists.
    • An independent thinker who takes a long-term strategic view.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to inform decisions.
