    Your Role and Responsibilities

    • As a Simpler Senior Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering sustainable results based upon the Simpler Business System®; eliminate waste, create value, improve process flow, and develop and document standard work, visual management and pull systems. Senior Managing Consultants will be assigned to support one or more accounts where the revenue generating work occurs and drive the client to continue to ask “What’s next? How do we improve from here?”.

    Responsibilities Include

    • Coach and transfer knowledge by working side-by-side to develop internal change-agent behaviors that build a culture of engagement, daily problem-solving, and respect for people.
    • Develop the client’s management system and coach to build internal capability to sustain the management system
    • Serve as change agents, facilitate Value Stream Analysis, Rapid Improvement Events, and Managing for Daily Improvement
    • Develop leaders and front-line talent by coaching in Gemba
    • Look for opportunities to use value-stream thinking to improve the deployment of new technologies and digital information flows.
    • Provide focused daily management to ensure the adoption and implementation of improvement ideas into the daily operations and culture of the site, preventing regression back to prior methods and beliefs
    • Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    • Proven, significant experience with the Toyota Production System®.

    Relevant transformation experience in a transformation system.

    • Understanding of business operations and business functions tactics.
    • Change agent with a record of dramatically better results and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
    • Experience coaching and leading continuous improvement techniques.
    • Significant hands-on process improvement experience.
    • Ability to create improved flow of value that is immediately visible and attributable to Simpler’s coaching.

    Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

    • MBA degree a plus
    • Industry 4.0 Knowledge and/or experience with Industry 4.0 technologies
    • Background in manufacturing.
    • Knowledge of Agile practices or certification

    Client Engineering: Technology Engineer (Site Reliability Engineer)

    Your Role and Responsibilities

    • Analyze business needs in the context of the bigger picture and make data driven decisions.
    • Design, analyze, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems
    • Specialize in reliability and resiliency through, automation, DevOps, and data driven techniques.
    • Analyze root cause issues, problem determination, and continuous improvement.
    • Work closely with dev teams to build, test, and deploy well engineered information system and ecosystems.
    • Act as a bridge between development and operations teams.
    • Apply a software engineering mindset to system administration concepts.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Knowledge in Incident and Problem Management
    • An understanding of system testing
    • Knowledge in observability and application performance monitoring

    Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

    • ITIL Foundations
    • Software Programming/Scripting in any Language
