Job Description:
- Ensure accurate data capturing and completion of documentation is done
- Check card balances, card reports and/or statements for customers
- Manage daily and weekly inventory control cards, magazines, application forms, baby bags, travel kits, promotional items, partner goody bags, free gifts and other promotional items
- Ensure Accurate Process of Transaction – TRMS – capturing and reporting
- Manage stock control and shrinkage
- Checkpoint reversals on statements
- Check the manual point’s allocation on card reports and statements, to ensure all manual allocations are given through to the Admin Manager on a daily basis
- Ensure effective internal communication (within customer service/benefits programme)
- Escalate compliments, complaints and product sourcing to Senior or Regional Customer Consultants daily
- Manage and report complaints and compliments through the customer service diary

- Ensure Store Manager and relevant employees are kept informed of all elements regarding the benefit programme

- Be visible on the store floor when a second Customer Consultant can relieve you at the Customer Consultant department

- assist with the compounding, manipulation or preparation of a non-sterile or sterile medicine or scheduled substance according to a formula and Standard Operating Procedures approved by the responsible pharmacist
- assist with the manufacturing of a non-sterile or sterile medicine or scheduled substance according to a formula and Standard Operating Procedures approved by the responsible pharmacist the re-packaging of medicine the distribution and control of stock of Schedule 1 to Schedule 5 medicines or scheduled substances

- Ensure accurate picking / packing / labelling and checking of medication and be aware of common dosages as well as important drug interactions
- Give accurate instructions to the patients regarding the correct use of medicine supplied
- Keep abreast of changes in medical scheme procedures and requirements for claims and dispensing
- Ensure that all prescriptions entered, are checked for accuracy by a pharmacist and signed by a pharmacist
- Advise and assist patients at the dispensary, self-medication counter and front-shop
- Follow up with patients regarding script tracking report as requested by the dispensary manager and follow up appointments
- Explain all medical aid cost to patients
- Provide information to individuals in order to promote health
- Follow through on any promises made to customers
- Process all paperwork necessary for the accurate submission of claims to medical schemes
- Correct errors on scripts rejected by medical scheme

Job Description:
- Ensure that full ranges of products are always on the shelves and neatly presented.
- Maintain the stock on the shelves to ensure it has not reached its sell by date.
