Key requirements;

Qualifications and experience:

• A BSc / BEng degree
• Previous work experience will be advantageous
• Strong academics

KEY  RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assistance to the Lead Engineer with 3D / Revit modeling and BIM 360 drawing tasks. This will also require interaction and coordination with international design teams.
• Providing assistance with marketing activities including providing technical information and support required for the marketing effort and preparation of relevant proposals.
• Operating relevant commercial software, developing, maintaining and enhancing any engineering tools or software used in the course of the engineering activities of the company.
• Ensure that BIM standards are maintained.
• Ensuring compliance with Bosch Projects’ ISO9001/2008 QMS systems, in terms of the specific responsibilities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD: 

• Have a minimum of four years working experience in structural steel and concrete – Revit 3D modelling & coordination.
• Have experience in reinforcement detailing in Revit.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, Revit and BIM 360 platforms.
• Have project management and site monitoring experience.
• Possess a thorough understanding of project – engineering workflow and a broad understanding of the other design engineering disciplines.
• Have effective Interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be prepared to travel within and outside RSA borders.
