    Warehouse Supervisor

    A challenging opportunity exists for a Warehouse Supervisor to join the dynamic Ciro family at our Cape Town site.

    Line Manager: Warehouse Manager

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    Manage Warehouse Items and Inventory.

    • Monitor “Expired, Short Dated, damaged” merchandise and report to Warehouse Manager.
    • Manage the inbound of finished goods, handling, storage & distribution.
    • Ensure all orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules and report any issues.
    • Communicate all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties.
    • Maintain strict controls over stock levels in order to meet internal and external demands.
    • Plan warehouse space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
    • Take into account full implications of planned production and other factors to plan warehouse space accordingly.
    • Conduct weekly cycle counts and quarterly stock takes to ensure stock accuracy.
    • Identify discrepancies between stock records and take action.
    • Investigate causes of lost or damaged shipments and or other matters, make adjustment where necessary.
    • Maintain Chep account and perform weekly physical counts.
    • Perform/follow up on all queries related to stock in the warehouse.
    • Ensure collections and returns are kept to a minimum.
    • Loading of vehicles.
    • Receive stock purchases from suppliers (Internal / External).

    Manage Item administration

    • Report and rectify all shortages / overs.

    Manage Compliance to Health and Safety standards.

    • Ensure adherence to OHASA.
    • Monitor and control warehouse security.
    • Enforce policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment.

    Manage Warehouse Assets and Equipment

    • Check all warehouse equipment for cleanliness and ensuring such is in working order.
    • Control DC fleet compliment by ensuring vehicles are kept in good operating condition with servicing records kept up to date.
    • Minimise environmental influences and mange effective energy in current warehouse structures.
    • Perform and manage Health and Safety checks (Risk Management).
    • Own business relationship with 3rd parties’ suppliers.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric
    • 2 - 4 years’ experience in a warehouse environment
    • Hyster license – Valid Forklift Driver’s License (advantageous) 
    • SAP and Excel working knowledge

    Technical Support Coordinator

    An exciting opportunity exists within our team for a Technical Support Coordinator within our Gauteng team.

    Line Manager: National Customer Service Manager   

    Job Specification:

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    Fielding Customer Calls

    • Assist Customers (internal or external) in a professional friendly and effective manner
    • Resolve Customer calls telephonically, using Technical skills, experience and Q Cards
    • Email these resolved calls to the customer and keep a record of these calls
    • Opening job cards in SAP, ensuring all info such as address, tel. numbers, contact person, equipment type, and proper description of fault is recorded
    • Responsible to follow up on open job cards (updates, returns etc.)
    • Capture relevant and accurate information on the job card which will assist the service technician when preparing for his call.

    Managing Field Service Calls

    • Tracking Technician progress throughout the day by monitoring incoming completed calls
    • Monitor incoming calls throughout the day and route to available technicians where possible
    • Rerouting Technicians and/or calls in order to ensure all calls will be completed without “over utilizing” a technician
    • Monitor incoming calls to ensure technician comments are accurate and complete.
    • Reroute all updates/Returns for the following day
    • Inform Customers when we cannot meet our deadlines or attend to their calls timeously
    • Coordinate Installations and Upliftments with sales department

    Spares

    • Liaise with stores to ensure outstanding job cards due to spares waiting get resolved and escalate to management

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • 3 years’ experience in a technical administration and customer focused role
    • Technical Repair experience will be advantageous
    • Field Service Experience will be advantageous
    • Minimum grade 12 
    • Equipment Specific & coffee course will be advantageous

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

    • Computer Literacy - Microsoft applications
    • Exposure to ERP systems

    Junior Key Accounts Manager

    An exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Key Account Manager at CIRO in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will focus on growing both Regional Groups and Independents in these channels. 

    Line Manager: Key Account Manager 

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Lead with National Key Accounts Manager and Regional Sales Managers team to identify new business opportunities in the Inland Region
    • Achieve growth objectives and agree on priorities required to execute this growth
    • Hunting activities and focus aligned to deliver regional category targets/roadmap for the coffee category
    • Drive basket growth through every new account
    • Confidential customer contracts management – MOU & SLA where relevant
    • Pricing management
    • Customer relationship management
    • Roll out Group business for Spar and select forecourt groups.
    • Attend quarterly customer business reviews with existing Group Business
    • Attend negotiations involving Confidential Terms & Conditions
    • Driving Marketing Initiatives and promotions by group from inception
    • Multi-level contact, Meeting with Customer Operations Teams as and when required ensuring effective communication at all times
    • Collection of information from trade and customer on competitor activity at all times and sharing the detail with the relevant departments, marketing and regions
    • Formulation of strategy to counter and leverage opportunity against the competitors 

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience:                                                                   

    • At least 5 years Foodservice and Out of Home Channel experience
    • 5 years experience in a Sales role (Operations or Key Accounts) 
    • Previous experience servicing the Forecourts and/or Restaurant Channel will be highly advantageous
    • Coffee experience will be highly beneficial

    Qualifications:

    • Matric/Grade 12
    • Completed degree in the relevant business field
