    Finance Systems Administrator

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

    To provide continuous support and administration services as the first line of support for all information technology related matters to the Finance Department.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support all systems users as first-line support with trouble-shooting and operational requirements:
    • Assist with the preparation of business requirements documents and general SAP related notifications from business as well as facilitating and monitoring the execution of the requests amongst relevant stakeholders
    • Draft monthly calendar and communicate the month end calendar and deadlines per module
    • Support users with password resets and other queries
    • Assist users with the navigation on SAP and other finance systems
    • Logging of calls on Solman for new users
    • Logging of calls on Solman masterdata:  vendors, debtors, GL Accounts, cost centres set up changes
    • Load new trade vendors, Overhead vendors , foreign vendors
    • Communicate to the end users of downtime on the systems timeously
    • Develop “how to guides” for the users
    • Administer IT hardware procurement for the Finance Department

    Requirements

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree or Diploma, in Information Technology/Computer Science (or similar relevant tertiary qualification) 
    • 2-3 years experience in a similar role would be an advantage
    • Retail and/or SAP experience will be an advantage
    • Working knowledge on networking, security and general infrastructure management
    • Keeps abreast of developments in the technology industry
    • G Suite skills
    • Technical ability
    • Performing under Pressure
    • Detail orientated 
    • Results orientated

    Systems Analyst

    Purpose of the job

    To ensure that the systems and business processes incorporate industry standards and best practices; and to provide business process and technology support to users. 

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop an understanding of the business, processes and requirements and propose software solutions
    • Design new systems and changes to processes and provide specifications
    • Support of existing business processes and technology 
    • Support and configuration of PLM system according to Business Requirements
    • Build and maintain business process models to support functional and technical specifications
    • Specification and management of system changes
    • Business systems analysis, testing and documentation
    • Training manual development and maintenance
    • Facilitation of training workshops
    • Project management
    • Assist with User queries

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Information Systems
    • Experience and knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
    • A passion for processes and systems
    • A curious self-starter who takes initiative, investigates problems, see possibilities and takes action
    • Proficient in MS office Suite
    • Competencies required: Performing under pressure, Listening skills, Service oriented, Initiative, Innovating, Helicopter view.

    The following will be an advantage:

    • Retail Experience
    • Merchandising and Inbound Logistics systems
    • Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) software tools i.e. Symbio, Jira, etc.
    • Programming experience, i.e. SQL, MySQL

    Buyer: Mensouterwear (Western Cape)

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

    To source and compile a range of commodities and ensure that the commodities are acceptable to the PEP consumer market. The commodities selected must contribute to the profit margin and price points of PEP, in accordance with the departmental directive. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supplier management (sourcing and loading) 
    • Range building (Product sourcing & range development) 
    • Product determination 
    • Product order management (Administration)

    Requirements
    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Relevant Degree (e.g. Consumer Science) or Diploma (e.g. Clothing / Purchasing Management)
    • At least 3 years experience as fully fledged buyer essential 
    • Underwear experience of at least 3 years is essential 
    • Manufacturing; supply and garment technology experience advantageous 
    • Computer Literacy (MS Office) 
    • Creative, eye for detail and analytical 
    • Willingness to travel

    Data Analyst (Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Description

    An insights & data focused role that ensures the PEP Commercial department (which includes PEPcell, PEPmoney, PAXI and New Business Development) receives insights required to drive revenue and growth

    Requirements

    Responsibilities:

    • Support of existing business processes and technology
    • Reporting & quantitative analytics tasks such as creating and improving dashboards or spreadsheets to support day to day decision making.
    • Understanding what drives business value, analysing datasets, creating visualisations and communicating the resulting actionable insights to business stakeholders.
    • Involvement in 3rd Party Analytics projects to ensure that business value is delivered.
    • Ensuring data quality is good, identifying problematic areas and taking the actions required to maintain data quality.
    • Work with internal teams and 3rd parties to escalate and resolve any data issues detected
    • Ad hoc recon and auditing of data
    • Present recommendations on new processes to ensure the business data needs are met
    • Develop & document procedures and workflows
    • Identify areas to increase efficiency & automation of processes using data
    • Management of resources
    • Ad hoc projects

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • Commercial/ Business related degree with Analytical/ Commercial subjects
    • Above average computer literacy: MS Office, Excel, Google GSuite. SQL experience an advantage
    • Minimum 3 years analyst experience, preferably in a financial services, logistics or ecommerce environment with a focus on delivering insights.
    • Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing and data enrichment techniques
    • Retail experience is advantageous
