    Senior Reward and Benefit Specialist

    Minimum Requirements;    

    • Relevant Bachelors degree
    • 5-10 years’ experience; demonstrated ability to drive the reward strategy, methodology and offerings across different organizational levels
    • Demonstrated skills in implementing large scale change initiatives at different organisational levels. 
    • Experience in a retail organisation

    Skills & Knowledge required:

    • Strong understanding of all related legislation, industry and statutory bodies
    • Understanding of benefits market trends, benchmarking and best practice
    • Reward processes, including job evaluation, salary benchmarking, total rewards analysis
    • Global reward practices - Workday/SAP or similar ERP systems
    • Understanding Reward in large complex organisations

    Duties & Responsibilities:  

    • Input into development and implementation of a rewards and benefits strategy and framework for Pick n Pay
    • Assist with ensuring reward and benefits strategies (both tangible and intangible) and policies and reporting comply with regulations, governance and are legally compliant.
    • For all changes in reward and benefits, assess the impact on the business, both on a short term and long-term basis and develop cost control procedures.

    Stakeholder management;

    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Reward, benefits and recognition opportunities are proactively addressed and interventions are successfully implemented.

    Reward and benefits solutions;

    • Develop/ source and/or package a range of quality, fit for purpose benefits solutions that support the attraction and retention of talent.
    • Solutions to include both guaranteed and variable reward solutions.
    • Help define and manage the Pick n Pay benefits proposition, including short term and long-term incentives.
    • Support the reviewing annual share allocations as well as the vesting thereof.
    • Work with the Reward and Benefits team in responding to day-to-day operational queries related to reward and benefits.

    Document management and Reporting;

    • Completes required documentation to meet legal and compliance requirements.

    People Management;

    • Take full responsibility for performance management of all direct reports, focusing on all aspects of sound people management:

    Architectural Drawing Technician

    Minimum Requirements:    

    • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Architecture or Similar Build Environment qualification
    • 2 years post graduate experience in retail design - Essential 
    • Knowledge of relevant SABS codes of practice and SANS Regulations
    • Knowledge of the OHS Act and associated regulations - Essential
    • Proficient in Autodesk products, with specific focus on AutoCAD & Revit - Essential
    • Sketchup Pro 2023 essential
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with specific focus on Excel and Word

    Duties & Responsibilities:    

    Store/Space Planning

    • Execute store planning for detailed population, ensuring that the end product is practical and aligned to Blue print, store cluster, budgets and specifications.

    Design Aesthetics;

    • Design new stores and revamps to Pick n Pay’s design requirements / Brief / blue-print layouts, design principles and standard specifications as they are formulated.
    • Ensure all design brief requirements are catered for according to Pick n Pay’s standards and specifications. All designs to adhere to National Building Regulations SANS 10400.

    Design Support;

    • Support HOD with creative designs & concepts to present new offerings
    • Aligning & liaising with equipment team whilst attending design needs
    • Creating 3D models & renders for presentation purposes

    As-Built

    • Update store plans in accordance with Architect issued as-built plans and/or final site inspection of works completion.

    Drawing Office Administration

    • Ensure all drawings are archived and documents are filed timeously.
    • Keep record of all issued plans and documents in accordance with the drawing office process document.
    • Provide support and relevant information timeously to all External and Internal Stakeholders.
    • Prioritise and meet deliverables by constantly monitoring and tracking all assigned projects to ensure that deadlines are met and adhered to as set out by the drawing office process document.

    Receiving Co-Ordinator

    Requirements:

    • Matric
    • Drivers Licence
    • Working knowledge of Store receiving area and support of Business Processes will be beneficial

    Duties & Responsibilities;   

    • Liaise with DC, DSD and other vendors on Store issues:
    • Delivery plans / SDA changes
    • Returns control

    Claims management

    • Security / Housekeeping pertaining to Store receiving areas
    • Manage activities in the stores supported by the incumbent:

    Queries on processes

    • Vendor collection / returns queries Implement new processes as defined / enhancements made to the receiving process.

    Manpower management with Divisional support structures;

    • Have regular meetings, training sessions and workshops with Store receiving teams.
    • Escalate non conformance's to Divisional management / Business Process Owner for resolution.

    SMME/ESD Assistant

    Duties & Responsibilities;

    • Support to ensure existing and prospective SMME’s meet PnP’s strategic and ESG Objectives
    • Facilitate networking opportunities with relevant SMME Stakeholders.
    • Investigate and resolve SMME/ESD supplier issues as they arise in conjunction with the SMME/ESD Manager.

    Minimum Requirements;

    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word and PowerPoint

    Wellbeing and Benefits Officer

    Duties & Responsibilities;

    • Support the development and implementation of an employee wellbeing and benefit strategy and framework for Pick ‘n Pay:
    • Develop and implement employee wellbeing programmes based on business requirements.
    • Engage in internal stakeholder engagement and relationships:
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure employee wellbeing and benefits programs/initiatives are proactively addressed and interventions are successfully implemented.
    • Provide support to ensure that external vendors deliver on agreed service levels agreements and address any deviations.
    • Develop communication strategies to create awareness with employees on the benefits that they receive.
    • Support the design of employee wellbeing and benefits methodology and solutions:
    • Develop / source and/or package a range of quality, fit for purpose wellbeing and benefits solutions that supports the attraction and retention of talent.
    • Plan, organise and assist with the delivery of a range of employee wellbeing projects.
    • Provide financial management support:
    • Assist with tracking the employee wellbeing and benefit budget.
    • Monitor adherence to budget and suggest corrective action where needed.

    Minimum Requirements;

    • Relevant Bachelors degree
    • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role; demonstrated ability to execute the employee wellbeing strategy and employee benefits strategy; methodology and offering across different organisational levels

    Skills & Knowledge required:

    • Broad understanding of all related legislation, industry and statutory bodies
    • Understanding of employee wellbeing and benefits market trends, benchmarking and best practice
    • Exposure in executing an organisational wellbeing agenda
    • Experience in change management initiatives – generic and in relation to the introduction of employee wellbeing initiatives
    • Basic experience working with all employee benefit types, i.e. medical aids, retirement funds, workmens compensation and ad hoc benefits service providers
