    Main job purpose

    SIG Machine - Armourplate (CPT)

    Main job purpose

    • Operating the double glazing machine (SIGU), ensuring that production and quality targets are met.

    Main Objective

    • Read and measure incoming glass accurately with a tape measure.
    • Inspect all incoming glass for irregular breaks, scratches and uneven edges.
    • Review process instructions as per job card and drawings.
    • Perform routine maintenance on every machine used in the double glazing process.
    • Start machine to verify setups and adjust machine controls to alter alignment as per glass specifications.
    • Ensure the water tanks are clean and contain warm water for better cleaning of the glass in the washing machine.
