    SEO Specialist

    Job description

    Role Purpose:

    As an SEO Specialist you will be responsible for driving and managing clients SEO requirements by implementing and optimizing the clients requirements and reporting back with meaningful insights according to the clients business, marketing and media objectives.

    Key Accountabilities

    Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) & responsibilities

    • Support Account Managers/Client Leads with implementation on campaigns SEO requirements
    • Continuously perform research and trend analysis and watch the market for new product opportunities within SEO field
    • Implement new products or product adoptions
    • Share trends with organisation on a regular basis
    • Liaise and work with our global partners where needed
    • Provide strategic input for pitches and new business development
    • Creation, development, management and optimization of effective SEO campaigns
    • Communicate account performance, trends and areas of opportunity to Account Managers/Client Leads
    • Work alongside other key departments such as D&I, Bought & Earned Teams and Client Services
    • Exceed clients expectations regarding performance
    • Campaign Optimization, Reporting, Analysis and Recommendations
    • Market leading SEO insight and strategy development
    • Working closely and advising clients on SEO optimization
    • Advise & implement clients search engine optimisation strategies for CMS systems, information architecture, web design & usability etc
    • Working closely and advising clients on usability, information architecture, taxonomy and dynamic web development
    • Work with Client Service and brand teams to provide strategic input and direction
    • Development and production of best in class performance reports within strict deadlines
    • Provide technical consultancy to clients and implementation of on all aspects of SEO including (but not limited to):
    • Keyword and content research using a suite of tools
    • Development of content strategies in collaboration with Content Strategists
    • Comprehensively research and analyse competitor sites and search results pages
    • Produce and implement back link strategies with third party web site owners
    • Internal link optimisation
    • Devising strategies for link building activities
    • SEO technical analysis and evaluation
    • Interrogating the website analytics, demonstrating value for money/ROI
    • Identify issues surrounding user experience, search engine accessibility, and information architecture

    Essential Personal Attributes

    Competencies

    • Advanced knowledge of paid search landscape (tools, methodologies, market dynamics)
    • Proficiency in managing all elements of SEO and knowledge of industry best practices
    • Ability to meet and beat commercial targets

    Desired experience

    • 3+ years’ experience
    • Extensive experience in SEO/SEM
    • Worked with large budgets/client properties
    • Showcase direct client communication/management
    • Worked with large, intricate budgets/client properties
    • Experience in the variety of tools required to do the job
    • Good working knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
    • Good communication skills
