The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a CAD Draughtsperson to join a leading infrastructure consultancy and contribute to the growth and development of a business with a reputation for technical excellence and strong client relationships.

Primary Position Purpose

To provide drafting services and prepare documentation for projects as well as provide other appropriate technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• With a minimum of 5 years' experience in Structures and Bridge design, you will play a key role in:
• Ensuring projects are documented within guidelines set by Supervisor
• Producing efficient, high quality drawings and documentation
• Ensuring tasks are completed to program
• Ability to use office systems relevant to tasks
• Understanding the use and importance of standards in the application of software tools
• Ensuring appropriate technical and drawing standards and quality procedures are maintained on all projects
• Taking ownership and responsibility for own work

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Suitable applicants will have/ be:

• National Diploma (Civil Engineering or equivalent)
• 5 years drafting experience (as a Draughtsperson)
• Experience in the use of AutoCAD, MicroStation and MicroStation Rebar systems
• Experience in bridge and general structures detailing advantageous, as well as construction (site) experience in bridges and culverts
