    Job description

    Job Summary

    The successful applicant will work in a small team to develop new products and maintain existing products.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in updating, repairing, modifying, and expanding existing programs
    • Assist in writing, testing, and maintaining programs
    • Follow the software development plan
    • Issue analysis and resolution
    • Maintain all development documentation under configuration and source control as per company standards (incl. Source, documentation, etc.)
    • Ongoing support throughout lifecycle of the product
    • Operations and rollout support
    • Perform the testing and debugging.
    • Report development
    • Understand project / product requirements from a technical perspective

    Qualification & Experience:

    • IT Related Qualification
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience

    Skills:

    • CSS
    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. (Afrikaans will be an advantage)
    • HTML
    • JPA/Hibernate
    • Java
    • JavaScript
    • MySQL
    • SQL
    • Spring
    • Web Application
    • These Skills will be an Advantage:
    • Jasper Reports
    • Linux
    • JSF/IceFaces
    • PHP
    • Web services - REST and JSON
