DUTIES :
Establish, implement and maintain appropriate systems, Policies and Procurement procedures to ensure effective, efficient and economical management of the Department Assets.
Ensure that the Asset Register is maintained and updated daily with all requisitions, movements and disposals. Ensure proper reporting and reconciliation on assets. Co-ordinate annual stocktaking.
Conduct inspections on a quarterly basis. Investigate shortages and surpluses and compilation of report findings, internal control and asset management. Responsible for recording transfers, movements, audits and disposal of assets.
