Key Performance Areas
Interpret and coordinate specific pre-work/ site requirements with regards to installation, repairs and appropriate maintenance techniques
Perform activities/sequences associated with fault finding and repairs to sewerage pump stations and treatment plants within Water and Sanitation
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure availability and reliability of mechanical equipment related to sewerage and pumping mechanical equipment at the plants within Water and Sanitation
Repair, overhaul, installation, testing and inspection of mechanical assets within water treatment facilities and pumping stations
Ensure details of repairs and maintenance activities are accurately recorded to facilitate the processing of information related to the productivity of personnel, time and material allocation and utilisation for specific assignments
Conforming to Operating and Safety Regulations for machinery as prescribed in the OHS Act
Compliance to organisational policies and procedures as well as statutory and regulatory requirements relating to ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
