Assistant Director: Digital Economy-2 Years Contract, Ref No. DEDAT 13/2025 at Western Cape Government

Job Purpose    

• The Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to assist with the development and implementation of technology and innovation initiatives.

Minimum Requirements    

• An appropriate 3-year B-Degree (or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years experience in project management or related environment.

Recommendation    

• A relevant Bachelors Degree as recognised by SAQA; A valid code B Drivers License.

Key Performance Areas    

• Assist with the development and implementation of projects and programmes;  Assist with the coordination of stakeholders as relevant to the development and implementation of projects and programmes; Assist with the development and implementation of the Unit’s strategies; Operational Management.
