Au Pair | Featherbrooke Estate | R11 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Featherbrooke Estate
• Children's Ages: 14, 12, 7 and 4 years old
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday 13:00 – 17:00
• School Holiday Hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Duties: The family has a driver who assists with the children’s school collections. However, the Au Pair will be responsible for ad hoc collections and transporting the children to and from extra-mural activities when required. For the most part, the role will involve meeting the children at home after school. The primary focus will be on the 2 youngest children, while still providing supervision to the 2 eldest children.
• Responsibilities will include homework supervision and assistance (only supervision for eldest 2 children), preparing snacks and meals, engaging the younger children in educational and age-appropriate play, and ensuring that school bags and belongings are packed and ready for the following day.
• The Au Pair may also be required to assist with occasional household-related errands, such as popping to the grocery store, purchasing items required for school, or assisting with other ad hoc errands as and when needed.
• Special Requirements: Afrikaans speaking candidate. Must be able to assist 2 youngest children with homework in Afrikaans.
• Start Date & Contract Term: October – permanent
• Salary: R10 000 - R11 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
