Description

• The Brand Communications Manager: Sunbet will be responsible for providing leadership, strategic communication to positively position and protect the Sunbet image and ongoing online reputation management.
• This will include developing and executing communication initiatives that enhance Sunbet’s brand visibility, engagement, and presence.
• This role encompasses influencer management, PR strategy, media relations, brand activations, events, content development, supplier management, and budgeting, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand presence across all channels with the objective of growing Sunbet’s reputation as the online gaming and sports betting brand of choice.

Requirements

Qualifications

• 3-Year Degree in Marketing, Communications , Public Relations or related field

Experience

• 5-8 years experience in brand communications, PR, content production, or influencer marketing
• Experience within the sports, entertainment, or betting industry is advantageous
• Strong media contacts and experience managing press and influencer relationships
• Proven experience in event planning, brand activations, and stakeholder engagement
• Proven ability to lead and execute high-impact campaigns and activations
• Experience managing budgets and external suppliers.

Key Performance Areas

Influencer & Partnership Management

• Identify, onboard, and manage influencer and ambassador partnerships aligned with Sunbet’s brand values and strategic goals.
• Develop and oversee influencer campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and ROI tracking.
• Maintain strong relationships with key influencers and brand partners to drive long-term advocacy.
• Monitor and report on influencer performance and engagement metrics.

Public Relations & Media Management

• Develop and execute Sunbet’s PR strategic plans to enhance brand reputation and awareness.
• Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to secure positive press coverage.
• Manage crisis communication strategies and provide media training where necessary.
• Oversee the development of press releases, media kits, and thought leadership content.
• Track and analyse media coverage to assess the effectiveness of PR campaigns.

Communications Strategy Development & Execution

• Develop integrated brand communication strategies that align with business objectives and marketing campaigns.
• Oversee brand messaging across all communication touchpoints, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling storytelling that drives engagement and brand affinity.
• Manage the execution of communication plans across digital, social, and traditional media channels.

Activations & Events (Media-Related)

• Plan and implement high-impact brand activations and media-focused events to enhance Sunbet’s industry presence.
• Manage event sponsorships, guest lists, and media engagement for maximum brand exposure.
• Collaborate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Measure and report on event performance, ROI, and media coverage.

Content Development & Brand Building Narratives

• Develop and manage compelling brand narratives that strengthen Sunbet’s positioning in the market.
• Oversee the planning and execution of content production, including shoots, filming, and multimedia storytelling.
• Manage creative suppliers, agencies, and production teams to ensure high-quality output aligned with brand guidelines.
• Ensure content is engaging, relevant, and on-brand across all communication channels.
• Monitor and evaluate content performance, adjusting strategies as needed.

Budgeting & Supplier Management

• Develop and manage budgets for brand communications, PR, activations, and content production.
• Oversee supplier contracts, negotiations, and performance evaluations to optimize cost efficiency.
• Ensure financial accountability by tracking expenditures and providing regular budget reports.

Team Management

• Team management; staff conditions of employment, e.g. attendance, absenteeism, leave, adherence to policies and procedures
